Be careful with borderless printing as it will shorten the printer's lifespan. Print heads touching the edge of the paper will damage the head, and ink printed on the border will spill and stick to the printer's interior. Your printer will start to have more quality issues, and once the printer's firmware determines the set amount of ink has stuck to the printer's waste ink tank (just a sponge lined inside the printer and not serviceable), the printer will lock up itself and will stop working. Even professional printers doing "full bleed printing" rely on printing on oversized paper and then physically trimming the paper to the correct size.

Thank you so much! I kept thinking I was saving my pdf incorrectly from Canva even though I was following all the steps correctly. I was messing up with my printer settings and this fixed my issue.

Okay one very important question HOW ? if you activate duplex it disables borderless printing.

Unfortunately Epson doesnt have this option..

I am not able to print without border. I do not have the option that you showed. I have the epson 2720. I am at my wits end trying to find the borderless option on this thing. In seetings I see the setting that says borderless but it is off with no option to turn it on. Thanks for doing this video.

I was thinking about buying the 2720 but will not until I can verify it does borderless. My current printer (HP) cuts off 1/2 inch of digital images just on one end. Messes up any journal pages I print. I have read that with Epson, you must select glossy photo paper and then also select a photo size, like 5x7, not 8.5x11 like I need. I will continue the search.

Printing from where power point ? Can I do this printing from silhouette studio?

Hi, it's me again & I'm at my wit's end! ;) What printer do U have? I just bought the Epson ET 8550 & it's supposed to print borderless, but so far I can't get anything to come up with the option. I tried to do it in Adobe Reader because I made the invitation in Procreate, two cards on one 8-1/2" x 11" paper to cut in half & saved it as a pdf file so it wouldn't change any of the settings. I'm so frustrated, I'm ready to make the invitations I need with a border & return the printer, but I know there has to be a way. I can't print the file from Procreate because it's on a iPad & will only air print & with air print, there are no drivers so I get a very limited printer dialogue box. Thank you SO much, I'm really hoping you'll be able to help me. I just bought this for my few little things I like to play around with so it's a very expensive toy I can't get to work right.

Hi Melinda! I'm not sure if you can help, but I have been trying to figure this out for a while now! I have the same printer as you, but I don't have a borderless printing option. When my sister uses the printer she has it though. Any ideas on how I get the option?

Hmmmm? When I select the 8x11 paper size there is another arrow that lets me print borderless.

Okay but what program are you using and does this work on windows?

It doesn’t really matter what program. It’s the print setting when you get ready to print. I am using PowerPoint in this video

Can we print borderless using ms word application?
