Can cannon pix a 8750 print borderless on A5 premium paper ? I can’t get it to recognise A5 in the settings

Bleed is a actually the borderless or no margins or white space on edges...

I have a printer with advanced settings, borderless printing, and using photoshop and I STILL cant get it to print 4X6 pictures without a big white border around the whole picture!

have you tried tricking the size? if let say.. it is 4x6 - how about making it 4.2 x 6.2?

as soon as it's a custom border it's a problem. Most printers don't do custom borderless printing.

On that subject... I have a Pixma G6020 printer. I use Bordeless...but I STILL have a "mini gap " on one side ( even on the Preview page ).... Any ideas ? I've used Photoshop 8.5 X 11 page...put a square in each corner....but when printing, the squares are slighly off to one side. ( It appears also in the Preview of the printer...so it's NOT the way the printer is fed...) Those four black corners are important to be "Spot On" for my cutter to be precise . ( Cricut Air Explore 2 ) Any help welcomed !!! 🙂👍

I wish it worked for me but I just wasted paper and toner. I've purchased and downloaded many different formats but yours always seems to give me trouble.

Even when your settings are all correct in the document itself, you may still find that your document won't print border-free. That's usually because the printer driver itself has default borders set for each document, and until they're changed your document will print with a border or your program will tell you that you're trying to print a document that's too large for the page. To fix that, open "Devices and Printers" from your startup menu, then right-click on the icon for your printer. Choose "Printing Preferences" from the pop-up menu, then look at the setup options your print driver provides. Usually, there will be one called "Layout" or "Page Layout." Once you've clicked "Layout," you should have the option to manually set your margins to zero. For some printers, you may need to dig down another level and find an "Advanced Setup" screen to get to those settings. Newer printers, especially if they're photo-oriented, should have an explicit setting for borderless printing. Click it, and then click "Print" to finish printing your document.

printing borderless but colour get light on plain paper selected?

tells me i cant print borderless 8.5x11 on plain paper. It seems to only want small sizes... :( Plain paper isnt in the drop down menu for me...

My question is, if you save your design as a standard PDF without borders, does the customer receive it without borders as well and they just need to modify it when they print, or do they actually get the design with the borders?

no, the borders are printed even when the image is 100% on canvas

The pdf page will be borderless on their device, but the margins on the printer depend on the actual physical printer and if it's able to print borderless. No matter what I do my printer physically can't print outside of a certain area so the only real option is to get a better printer that can go all the way to the edges of the page. The easier option is to just have a print shop take care of it if you're only doing a one-off printing, otherwise you'll have to invest in better equipment.

I can't find this procedure or commands in my EPSON ET2500 series

Check your printer's user guide. You can find them online if you google the printer model. It would probably be in the page setup, page bleed or borderless printing section

Probably a bit late now, but you can check if borderless is an option in the printer you're thinking about purchasing by googling the printer model's manual to check

I bought an expensive Canon i sensys 744cdw printer for £600 and it doesn't do borderless printing! What an expensive piece of crap!

Is that a laser or inkjet printer? Have you tried Googling that printer model's instruction manual? You can usually download the manual and do a search for borderless to check if it's capable
