The land of Merapani was protected by the Village guard ( VG ) of Tuensang Dist.during the war of Nagaland and Assam in the month of May and June 1985.

Assam needs to be taught again. The Merapani war and the war way back in 2014 has to be revised. Every Nagas need to come forward and usher in the common threat of these people. They are very much United and they do not know who is Lotha, Sumi, Ao etc...

During 1985 Merapani issue with Assam, ENPO area Village Guards went and protected Lotha brother's. If needed help we are ready, even thought you may still advocate the Fencing of Eastern families.

Assam govt has really stepped up in developing their border areas. Nagaland govt doesn't invest at all in developing and securing our borders. Roads should be build and development activities should be incentivised. Adequate forces should be deployed to to discourage adventurism from the Assam side.

This is not First time.. Assam police are distributing under Nagaland border Area.. Assam people are encroach Naga forefathers land... this a serious matter..As I am citizens of that neighbouring villages..
