MIN. JOHN ON ULB ELECTION: CLARIFIES MEDZIPHEMA MAY 15 INCIDENT
Minister of Forest, Environment & Climate Change and Village Guards, C.L. John on May 24 clarified that the tiger which was reported at Medziphema on May 15 is not a tiger but a leopard. Regarding the ULB election he said that the Eastern Nagaland Legislators Union has appealed to the ENPO not to abstain from the ULB election again and again. He also mentioned that by abstaining from the ULB election there will be no funds for urban local bodies and development.

I heard CL john education is only upto class-5 . this is very unfortunate as a Minister. Electing Uneducated person to represent your Community & Constituency shows konyak people are still in stone age. There are so many other highly educated konyak people in Nagaland. High time to replace CL john.
