The funny thing is that his Kazakh greeting "jak się masz" is in Polish, when he is speaking Kazakh he is speaking Hebrew and there are other instances of him using different languages. No one will realize he uses like 3 different languages saying they are yet another language and no one in America will realize. He can say literally anything about his country and other similar thing and no viewer will realize which kind of proves the point of the movie.

There were awesome scenes in the second one, for example with the baby at the doctor but the clips with Republicans weren't funny they were pretty sad to watch.

yeah I checked the trailer of the second one and I thought it was a bit to naive. Didn't laugh at all. The first one is hilarious even after watching it a number of times!

@benjo yeah its' not woke, he didn't make any jokes like that in the 2nd film because you can't release a film in 2020 unless it has feminist propaganda and there was no shortage of it in the 2nd film. He even says at the end "may the patriarchy burn in hell". You can't get funding anymore unless you adhere to leftist "woke" topics. All films must portray women as "strong female characters" and that's exactly what the 2nd film is. His daughter replaces him as a reporter (defeating the patriarchy). All feminist propaganda! But it won't work because everyone sees right through it 😂😂😂

So glad this guy found a way to be himself. I wonder how many people are working "normal" jobs with a character like Borat stuck inside them.

Well, Borat is very funny, but totally politically correct, extremely leftist. He mocks patriarchy, racism antisemitism, homophobia etc. Moreover, Cohen always criticizes only the conservatives and the political right side. You don't understand the real sens of this movie. That story works on two levels.
