My first introduction to Booty’s Rubber Band in 77 , still my favorite band 😊 Still have this album .

Where would we be without Bootsy Collins?!?!?!

I remember his standing on stage with a cape on. He had his back to the audience. On the back of the cape was a picture of Casper, the friendly ghost. Down at the bottom was one word, Boo! Then he turned around and said "Hallelujah!" It was over from there as he took funk to a whole new level.

I will always love you. Summer of 76 (or 77) I heard this every day at day camp (W.S. Dyett. ) My sister & I won a dance contest and was King & Queen of the Bud Billiken parade off this song.😄

I rate Bootsie as one of the greatest bass players ever. He musically knew what to do, at all times perfectly.

I've been a Funkateer (59yo) ever since I saw my first Funk show Parliament/Funkadelic, George changed music forever, well him and James Brown, when they changed the hard beat from the four to the one. Hence, Everything is on the One. That changed everything, in Black music. The Funk is it's own Jonra.

I REMEMBER THIS SONG, I WAS STATIONED IN KOREA, CAMP HUMPHREY'S KOREA, AND MY BROTHER WAS ON CAMP CASEY. USE TO GO TO THE CLUB IN THE VILLAGE AND PARTY. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN. I WENT IN THE ARMY IN 74, I WAS STATIONED IN KOREA IN 75 TO 76.

Insanely funky track. Love Bernie Worrell's superb synth work here. His contributions really enhance the song's ghostly, casper vibe.

I'm 55 going to be 56 in August and back in 76 when this song came out I definitely didn't like it see I was a jazz snob as I was taught music playing the clarinet and then later the bass and I thought Bootsy destroyed all the theories of music with that sound I wasn't feeling it at all plus his voice was annoying to me too it took for my older brothers to put me down with Bootsy after really listening to him and paying attention I fell in love with him and my first Bootsy's Rubber Band show was 1978 during the player of the year tour Capt Sky and Confunkshun open up the show and I had a blast that night been a fan ever since thanks big Brothers

Play old bootsy in a Buick 225 he was the greatest for the bass and all the songs at the car wash movie were based on him 😊THEGUY WAS YEARS A HEAD OF OF HIS TIMES .

Would've loved to see Bootsy this past weekend July 27, 2019 when I went to see George Clinton farewell tour in Greensboro NC.. I think alot of fans wanted to see Bootsy..

Man I remember gettin KTLA channell from Los Angeles and they used to play nothing but hip hop and it was the bomb!!!! But Funk was one of the roots it stemmed from!!!

I was a lighting tech on the O' Feets Don't Fail Me Now tour... Awesome players, front back. Ah dem was the daze... My favorite part of the show was when we'd totally obscure the stage with CO2, fire stobes and pour on the UV when Bootsy would stroll out in his white sequined floor length coat with his white star bass and just LEVEL the place for a 5 minute solo.

Cousin Rob STRECTCHED OUT MY SOUL ON THIS OUTSTANDING TITLE TRACK AND THE ALBUM APPRECIATE THAT THEODORE.

Loved growing up to this music. If you don’t have soul it will do nothing for you.
