Ойын-сауық

In part 2 of this booth rental series, I'm sharing the top 7 things I wish I would have done when I first began my career as a booth renter! I hope these are practical and applicable for you whether or not you are an independent hairstylist! If nothing else, I hope you enjoy watching!

Great Advice I see a lot of young hairdressers leave the industry because , beauty schools don’t teach enough , it just teaches you the bare minimum and they charge alot of tuition, most do an Apprenticeship before they get their own chair and that barely covers the cost of living or actually does it covered so I see how most can get very discouraged if you’re lucky enough do you have a supportive family while you’re going through this rough first 2 to 3 year. You can definitely make a good life doing hair

Can you give us a video on what we need to jump to booth rent. Like square to take money or what you suggest. Things we would need that we might overlook. Like insurance and anything else please

I’m making the jump to booth rent and choose Gloss Genius + their card reader! I haven’t had the chance to use it yet, but it will essentially do the job of a receptionist for me!

Quit my first commission salon. For employees misclassifcation. I have very little clientele. My city is only booth rent. One great clips. I would love to stay in my city bc the bigger city is 45 mins away. Can you give me advice plz. My mind says booth rent and build and take a loss while pushing through. Or just find somewhere else in another city. I look at that as wasting time and getting a clientele who more likely won’t drive an hour to see me. I’m so lost 😞

Booth rentals are not good from my experience i felt i was doing nails for free to just pay the booth Nd still make no money i decided to make my own nail studio at home i dont have to worry about paying 700 a month for booth rental that was money i was able to make and keep and invest in products and extra classes for new product i felt renting was just loss of money ..

In my state home-based salon aren't legal unless you have the city regulations. 😢
