Love this scavenger hunt idea. I have so many books on my TBR that this would really help me make a decision. 😅 Definitely would love to see one of these again after you do a big book haul from the bookstore again. Do you have any used bookstores around you? It would be interesting to see you do a used bookstore haul and just see what treasures you may come across.

You should totally try it out! I WISH I had an independent or used bookstore near me. There are some in the city but none that are easy for me to get to.

I had a similar issue with remembering/connecting character's names when I was reading Battle Royale (translated from Japanese). I consume a lot of Japanese media so I didn't expect this to be an issue at all, but I was so grateful that my edition had a character list in the beginning of the book - I had to flip back a lot!

I read “How to End a Love Story” and was also turned off a bit by the physical first, emotional later, but honestly it would have seemed less believable to me if she fell in love with him first (emotionally), given their history. So even though I didn’t like it, it did make a little sense I guess? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Interesting idea. Please do more 😊 I thought complimentary meant colours that go together and not opposites (contrary)? Not an English speaking native though, so a tad confused ❤

complimentary colours is an english term used for colours that are on the opposite ends of the colour wheel from each other! so like red and green, yellow and purple, orange and blue. i guess in theory, these colours would compliment each other since they are opposites of that makes sense... like they'd pop out from one another.
