I used to show the gifts as part of ' @The Chateau Diaries ' episodes, but you're all so very generous that we have many gifts, and if we spent the episodes opening them, we wouldn't be able to show you other aspects of chateau life! So, for those of you who enjoy watching presents being opened, and as a way to thank those of you who were kind enough to send them, I've made this new channel. Every week we will film your beautiful gifts whilst enjoying afternoon tea or aperitif together.
It is very important to me that you know that we in no way expect anyone to send us gifts. I would like to go further than that and add that, if doing so will put you in any financial difficulty whatsoever, please, please do not send us anything. Knowing that you join us by watching 'The Chateau Diaries' gives us all an enormous boost. But for those of you who have sent these incredibly thoughtful gifts, I hope that seeing us open them gives you a fraction of the joy that you've given us 💖💖💖
If you would like to see more of our life at the chateau, please go to our main 'Chateau Diaries' channel:

@@stephaniedent4833 😊Brava. Well said. Items that may have been neglected or gathering dust〰️but obviously remain much loved💖 were clearly chosen with 🤔careful consideration on how they could bless💝 each & every recipient @ the 🏰 Château. 😘Finding someone worthy to treasure something you have great sentimental attachment for is simply one of the best things in this life❤ too. Besides... "A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed." 📖 Proverbs 11:25 🙏May all those ⚜️Lalanders, fans, & followers who have given so generously of their time, talents, & resources be enriched in every way for all their generosity & kindness. My grandmother that I loved dearly and was very close to was 4‘9“ and I would continuously lose her in stores because there was no way of seeing her over the isles. I found myself as a child going to customer service and asking them to call her on the loudspeaker like they would do for children. She was so much fun I can’t even explain, I miss her dearly.

My grandmother was a perfectionist with her crocheting, even if she were making a blanket and had a mistake in the middle she would undo the entire thing and start over from where the mishap had happened. I told my husband all the time that she was born in the wrong time because she could’ve made so much money these days off of those things that she made. My favorite were these little crocheted rollerskates made into booties, they were so adorable and she knew I loved them so much so she would crochet even tinier ones for my dolls. All my Barbies had clothes, it was crazy. I do miss her terribly, she passed away 12 years ago.

😊Davey is such a special addition at ⛲️ LaLande. A handsome, elegant man is unlikely to be called that in reality. His name is probably David or Dave. 🌻Dear Stephanie has probably shortened it out of 😘affection & familiarity. He doesn't seem to mind her gentle teasing. 🥰It's obvious how much she admires & trusts him too. Mutual admiration & respect for sure. 😉Don't know if I'm spelling his name right either, but in the end I don't think he'll be too upset. He's secure in himself, his 💪masculinity, his place in the world🌐, & rarely feels the need to assert himself. 🤔Introverts are fascinating creatures. Maybe he doesn't speak a lot, but you know there's a lot going on in his head. Bet he doesn't miss a trick. I appreciate that he's such a good sport about being on her vlogs & participating in Cadeaux. That speaks well to his generosity of spirit, confidence, & character. 💚Bridget from Cali☘️ (using my pal's YT acct)

The Australian books some of which feature the gumnut babies. Mae Gibbs was the author of those books, they have been around for ever I had some as a baby and I am now 80 years old. The gumnut babies were very tough because they never wore clothes and if you have tried to climb s gum tree they are very rough and spiky in places, but they did however have hats which is very important with our hot sun. Their hats were gum nuts.😊

The weight in those boxes must have cost a fortune in postage. 😲Those crotchet wraps made sure nothing got broken packed around the crockery etc.

Echidnas are unique to Australia. Like platypus, only mammals to lay eggs.

You guys could have a party and everyone dress from different countries and you already have one for China, perfection. Think about all the snack foods you guys could make, like if you dress up from China you have to bring a Chinese appetizer. Oh what FuN that is, maybe I’ll do it.👍

Oh yes, LaLande should do that! As a child in South Australia, my school celebrated United Nations Day every year on 28 October. Each class picked a country, learnt about it and decorated their class room with pictures and facts. On the day we all came to school in our country’s costume and parents and visitors visited our classroom to taste cultural food and then join in a school celebration in the schoolyard where each class sang and danced representing their chosen country around a chalk drawn United Nations Flag. Our school was quite famous for this celebration and we were often on tv. (In black and white though as I’m seventy now) I remember watching on tv as they filmed children on the way to school all dressed up in costume. I distinctly remember children dressed up in Arab robes on tv. Some of the countries I got to represent were Ireland, we made cross stitched green gingham aprons, China with me having a Chinese costume and a long pigtail, and Tonga with us serving coconut and wearing grass skirts and doing the hula. Also Greece where we danced and learnt the song Never on a Sunday in Greek. Absolutely wonderful memories of my childhood! 😍😍 Perhaps the world needs to recognise and celebrate different cultures more often these days to recognise diversity and reduce discrimination eh?
