I remember spotting only *one copy* of the Cosmic Motors book in an art store when I was in my 3rd year in design school. Man, I grabbed that book so fast like it was black Friday.

These are great books and I can't recommend those Scott Robertson books enough. There are 2 other books I highly recommend. (Although mostly product design sketching focused) ''Sketching'' and ''Sketching the basics'' by Koos Eissen. I Knew about section lines from Scott Robertson's earlier dvd's but didn't learn about ''multi roundings'' ( even though they are technically parts of sections). These 2 books taught me so much about multi roundings on products. I started to see them in larger objects and this helped me with my vehicle sketches and taught me why in some large vehicles like buses and trains, the centerline still shifted towards the outside in 3/4 view, even when there was hardly any top view curve on the front plane. It was all because of that near side edge and corner rounding transition space between the front and side planes. Such a simple observation was giving me problems for years. Your video about the car centerline was also very helpful. ✌

Hey Berk, I know three books to add to your collection . There are more about car design history, but still very inspiring for everyone how is interested in car design. They called Car Design Europe, Car Design America and Car Design Asia by Paolo Tumminelli. Especially last one is very interesting, because footage of Asian Car design is rare to find. Hope you like it:)

From those I have the How to Render and How to Draw, they are so good. And the Timeless Racer, also beyond awesome. Wanted to buy the Cosmic Motors, but it´s out of stock everywhere and the ones I find are way too expensive. :/

Im gonna get thoose books ASAP! I've got How to Design cars like a pro by: Tony Lewin, Ryan Borroff. It includes all the categories that you mentioned, so it was a great first book. Maybe a little dated.
