Knowing how much we lost as fans and wrestlers lost to lead to this day. I'm definitely grateful to watch booker and all these greats. Especially nation of domination. The Nation was a really cool faction. In 96-97 WWF was already pushing the envelope with controversial angles. A Black Nationalist stable was no joke and I don't know if just 10 years later it would have been possible to pull it off, especially with names like Kama Mustafa or Farooq. Too much heat perhaps. Nowadays it would be considered offensive and too stereotypical and it wouldn't fly.

Farooq never got a title run of any kind, and actually lost two finals for the IC belt (yes, belt) up until this point. They should have been so much more dominant with title runs and big wins, but I feel like they never achieved anything other then giving us The Rock, which I guess is a lot...

"Every time he wore that blue helmet out, it motivated him to try and kill somebody!" You know, as ridiculous as that costume was, Ron looked dominant in the ring while wearing it. I really was shocked that Marc Mero beat him in the IC Title tournament finals - I completely expected Faarooq to win the title and have a dominant heel title run while Ahmed Johnson recovered, so that Ahmed could win the title back upon his return. But WWF took the IC title to a completely different direction.

So when Booker arrived in WCW, was that just after Ron had left? What was the timeline there? Anyway, thr Nation was a hell of a faction. Definitely the best part of the Gang Wars story they were doing in WWF.

What about the original Nation? I think the version with PG 13, Crush and Savio was an interesting dynamic. Not as good as the version that we remember the most. But I think fans forget about them.
