Was Ric Flair a ripoff of Buddy Rogers? Weren't they both ripoffs of Gorgeous George? The Rock was reminiscent of Superstar Billy Graham and so were Hulk Hogan and Jesse Ventura. Most Wrestlers don't go as hard as LA with their "inspiration". Even Ric who was clearly a rip off, atleast had his own catchphrases and promo style. *List of things that make people think he's a Rock and Austin knockoff* - Does a finisher siimilar to a Stunner - has his own People's Elbow - Has his own "WHAT!" ~ "YEAH!" and uses it in a similar way. But also like Austin's "HELL YEAH!" - raises eyebrow like Rock - Has Austin's physical mannerisms - Wears a vest like Austin - Wears shades like The Rock - Suggest putting things up rears like the rock and does it in a similar manner - has their cadence - And also has his own version of "Uh Uh!" When he disagrees "naw naw!" - used to literally use "that's the bottom line" when he was Eli Drake - "With the millions of Rock's fans chanting Rocky Rocky" ~ "With everybody saying L A Knight!"

Nobody wanted pro-wrestlers to stop acting like that... they just decided that they would rather be "actors" or what ever tf... There was a particularly wicked spot Tanaka used to do all the time where he'd come off the ropes and hit a rapid fire Spinning Forearm/Body attack in the middle of the ring on his opponent. It always looked amazing! Booker T coming off the ropes with his version of the Flying Forearm is very similar in style.

Good to see open-mindedness on this channel. Nash and Oliver doubled down on their ignorance. Nash admits to only having seen LA Knight that one time. He said he gave Knight another chance by watching RAW, and mocked him by not being booked on the three hour show. 🙄 It didn't dawn on neither Nash nor Oliver that LA Knight is on Smackdown, not RAW, and Nash is bragging that he blocked a ton of people for criticizing Knight based on one viewing. How could a veteran like Nash be so out of touch with the heritage of wrestling being passed from one generation to another? He had plenty of colleagues that he worked with that were descendants of a prior generation. Flair from Rogers, Hogan, Steiner, Dusty, Ventura from Superstar Graham. Goldberg from Nikita. Demolition from the Road Warriors. On and on it goes - as it always has and always will. Nash just doesn't want to educate himself. He might have to swallow his pride and admit that he is wrong. And Nash doesn't have the balls for that. He'll never really grow up and be a real adult...

Yeah and it's not just that the main problem with wrestling today period is that it's all about kicks and flips and putting on 5 star matches those are the wrestlers that WWE keep signing and pushing over the people who can play 5 star characters if they push LA Knight to the moon WWE would be soo hot like old days and it will save wrestling because it will show all these wrestlers that no matter how many flips you can do nothing beats charisma and mic skills and they should also push Lacey Evans and bring back her old gimmick and I guarantee you should would be the most entertaining women in the women's division because she was also a killer on the mic and very charismatic.

I'll just say this once more cuz I keep saying it, because I keep seeing this news pop up... LA Knight seems like a really cool guy, he is one of the most over wrestlers right now and he takes inspiration from The Rock and Stone Cold. Ok. He is NOT a rip off in my opinion. Past that... he's got really funny, short promos. He's average in the ring or below average and he is 41 years old. I know how the internet is and how wrestling fans are, but you gotta let the championship LA Knight dream go. He is NOT main event material... he is at best a possible US Title holder. If you disagree with me that's fine... but just remember there is a reason he is 41 and we are having this convo... again... for the 50th time this month! What you want as fans and the reality of life... are 2 different things. Who you gonna blame now Triple H?😂

I don’t think LA Knight is copying nor inspired from it. What I’m seeing, he’s gotten more confident in his character just like The Rock and Stone Cold, you can tell when they knew they got over with fans, and their ability to feel the fans were on another level. I only hope Knight can increase his charisma with fans.

La Knight is literally a different type of breed. No top guy right now has had this type of rise probably since CM Punk & Daniel Bryan in WWE. He’s literally special. It’s only a matter of time until he surpasses those merch sales. By next year he’ll be right behind Roman considering they do his character right. But with Triple H as the head of creative, I’ll be surprised if they flop him. He’s so good. His promos are better than anybody in the roster currently. I’m dying to see LA Knight and Cena in a promo battle.
