I love this. Not bringing up at all the horrible things that happened in Benoits household. Just talking purely of him when he was a wrestler. Because majority of us know by now that, that was not the real actions of the man Chris Benoit himself. His brain literally turned to mashed potatoes the days of those unspeakable events. There wasn't anything left of his brain at the time clearly and I really do wish he and Eddie retired earlier especially Chris. Just a shame he couldn't get the help he needed for his obvious brain injury and its so horrible that his wife and young son had to go through that it's disgusting. But I respect, Booker that you can recount story's of you and Chris so peacefully without going down that route that's so cool man.

No doubt Benoit was the TOTAL PACKAGE in ring! In many ways, he took what Dynamite Kid did to the next level. He wasn't a carbon copy of Dynamite. Took what he did the next level. And that's SAYING A LOT!!! He had literally HAD IT ALL IN RING!!! Technical skills, brawling, and pound for pound power in spades! He was also an elite high flyer too. BUT he used the other attributes I mentioned to wear down his opponents. And then would amp up the aerial shit if it called for it! And he came across as a legit badass on top of it!!! So when u combine ALL THAT SHIT, he manufactured ENOUGH IT FACTOR to be a world heavyweight champ in WCW and WWE. He didn't need to be flamboyant, a big guy, or over the top on the mic to get on that level! It was HUGE for the Horsemen to get him and Pillman at the time they did. They needed some elite younger star power in the group. Just wish Pillman could have lasted much longer with the Horsemen!

I disagree. He was a poor mans version of the Dynamite Kid, and I believe Chris Benoit is in the top 5 wrestlers ever. That is how good the Dynamite kid was. Look at the speed and athletic ability of Dynamite, look at how real he made it seem. Dynamite is the greatest ever. Benoit idolised Tommy Billington and tried to emulate him. Absolutely not. Because Benoit the wrestler is still the Benoit who took out his entire family and himself. Sadly, his last few days overshadowed his accomplishments in life and he deserves no glory in death. Anyone wanting him inducted into the HOF imo isn’t thinking it through completely.

And, to think, we couldn't dare have this best of 7 in today's wrestling because the fans bitch and moan about rematches when wrestlers have two matches against each other. Fans today just don't understand how great old school wrestling was.

Never payed much attention to the best of seven series they had in WWE. I thought there was no way they could top there outstanding best of 7 series in WCW. After all these years I might go back and watch all 14 again on WWE Network but that will be some slog. 😂

You can’t blame people for saying he’s a murderer since it’s true but yeah, it does annoying when people would only come into Benoit related things jams constantly bringing it up to Benoit fans as if they didn’t already know that. I don’t forgive him or excuse what he did. I’m not sure how he was as a person but as a wrestler, he was one of the greats. I will always hate what he ended up doing at the end of his life. Nobody in their right minds liked what he did in his last days.

Ram I feel so sorry for David because of how he to deal with what his father did and he loved all three of them. I do have to be honest though, it seems like he doesn’t fully understand or grasp what his father did. I don’t blame him for loving his father but he has this hope that his father was just out of it when he did it. We don’t know why he did it. His father for whatever reason, tied up his wife first and strangled her when he pinned pinned her down. I’m not sure if he realized what he did but that doesn’t seem like he was out of it. He also killed his half brother too. I don’t think Benoit killed Daniel because he hated him or something but I think he killed him out of love because he didn’t want him to live the rest o his life knowing his father/hero had killed his mother. He probably thought it would’ve broken Daniel and David is basically living the life that Daniel would’ve where people are constantly bringIng up his father did and saying negative things like “oh he will end up like his dad”. Anyway, it seems like he regretted the decision too because he tried bringing his son back with religious stuff he found on his computer but of course, it couldn’t happen. His dad did some very terrible things and it sucks because we will never know what happened or why he did it. He took that truth to the grave with him. WWE and the people just can’t move on from him and see him in a more positive way because a lot of people would be seeing it as “glorifying as murderer”, especially when he killed a child and how it would be disrespectful to the families that have to grieve over what he did. If Benoit was again that “good person” people thought he was and knew what he did was wrong, he would be fine with how they treat him. If he was a guy who loved the business that much, he wouldn’t want what he did to hurt the business even more. He’d accept not being in the HOF and so on. Everyone moving on from what he did isn’t going to happen anytime soon. I like to think he is heaven but with what he did, I don’t know. Sure, he wasn’t a born murderer and I think if he was ever a “good person”, he would’ve despised that he did something like that but when you kill two innocent people which he still did. especially when one of them is a child, Heaven is going to be very difficult to get into. A lot of things he had may or may not have been twisting his mind though but again, we don’t if it really played a part in what he did. I could only say now is, god rest their souls.

I just didn’t want to forget anything that I wanted to you. I do that with a lot of comments. Anyway, yeah, I saw that he got very religious at the end of his life or at least after what he did. His sister in law said he wasn’t really subscribed to any religion but he did seem to believe in something though and if I remember right, he was subscribed to a different religion but I forgot what it was. I think it was a European religion or somewhere around there but I could be wrong.
