Two nation theory was the British theory. Jinnah was persuaded by them to accept. Around 1930/31 Jinnah migrated to England. Lived and practiced there and had nothing to do with India. Then around 1935 he returned to India and plunged in to politics headlong. Perhaps lured by the British in to returning.

Jinnah was involved in politics Since 1904, he strongly believed in the Hindu muslim unity and he believed only by this unity people of India can be benefitted at very larger scale. Furthermore he was entitled as ambassador of Hindu muslim unity in 1916. But after 1920, Mahatma Gandhi's non co-operation movement, he gradually felt insecurity for muslims and 1930 he fully realized it that their is no future of muslims along with Hindu majority rule. He left india in 1930 because of non co-operation and diversity thinking of his own very league's people. But Jinnah has came through a very long political Struggle since he left England after completing his degree at Lincoln's Bar. Jinnah, the game changer♥😘

I think this is a intellectual debate with true knowledge of history where people without knowledge must not comment, just likes and dislikes would be good. For me if I have to comment on this I will have to spend some time to study this topic from different sources, compare and a analyse them, and then give my comments. Thankyou.

The point at which reaction becomes against action necessary such sorrowful happening occurs! Etymologically hard to define caste and religion. Or sects and creed are on the following of respecting ancestors. Races are older than religions on earth. Moreover, conduct is contrary to instructions, Few may be exception. For them a real term should be framed in respect of what religion actually is ! Or not? Intelectual can not be friends. We ( myself Victoria Miroshnik and Dipak Basu) have analyzed this issue in our book, India as an organization, published by Palgrave-Macmillan. The thesis of Ayesha Jalal was wrong. Jinnah was recruited by the British in 1934 to create a new state where the British Army could stay to protect the Middle East from the Soviet Union and the sea route between the Suez Canal and Australia. NS Sarila, who was the ADC for the last three Vice-Roys of India, wrote that in his book. There are two others who were recruited by the British: Gandhi in 1915 and Ambedkar in 1930. British supported the Muslim League wholeheartedly from the beginning in 1906. In every riot, British police took the position to support the Muslims. That was obvious in August 1946 in Calcutta, then in Noakhali, and Chittagong in East Bengal. Pakistan was created by the British and Jinnah, Gandhi, Ambedkar were the British agents. Gandhi planned Pakistan in 1943. He sent his plan to Jinnah through Rajagopalachari, but Jinnah wanted a corridor through India which Gandhi could not agree with.

Pakistan is a product of peculiar circumstances 1. Muslim League based in Bengal did not have an articulate leader 2. Mohammed Ali Jinnah felt side lined in Congress , wanted some following 3. Hence Jinnah who shared little value with Muslim League members became their transplanted leader 4. More importantly , British and the West wanted a country as a wedge between India and Russia . They also wanted control of that country. Huge money was exchanged to toe their agenda Pakistan was hence born out of unusual circumstances

Jinnah was a savvy intelligent leader, who was sidelined by the British initially, but he got them to accept when the British needed manpower for the WW2 effort, as for British lackeys the biggest lackeys were the rss.

Jinnah agreed to a federation whereby the centre would have power in matters of defence, foreign policy much akin to the US, Nehru agreed but when meeting journalists about the discussion Nehru said that anything is up for change after independence, this statement further cemented Jinnahs position for Pakistan, and thank God he had, seeing the plight of Muslims under the fascist hindutva Indian government merely makes my love for Jinnah and Pakistan increase, as he was right that Muslims would become second class citizens eventually.

The Professor, has his own prejudices, we all have, but he is supposed to write history and he has miserably failed in that. In the first place, he does not give due credit to his subject. "Jinnah". He does not give due credit to the efforts made by Jinnah, to bring Muslims and Hindus together, for this reason, he did not join the Muslim league, but became a member of the Congress party. After all, he was called the ambassador of unity, not by Muslims but very prominent Congress leaders. Jinnah once said, "it is my ambition to become a Muslim Gokhale" on the other hand Gokhale himself said about Jinnah "he has a true staff in him and that freedom from all Secretary and prejudice which will make him the best ambassador of the Hindu - Muslim unity." Both these quotes are from a book "Jinnah Secular and Nationalist" published by Ajeet Jawed. Who happens to be a reader in political science at the University of New Delhi, India. Jinnah, like many other political leaders, was well aware, the design of the Imperial British government, to divide and rule. That is why, Jinnah opposed separate electoral roll for the Muslims. The question, one must ask, what compelled Jinnah to change course and if one were to go back one will discover, that Jinnah made every effort for the United country. All Parties National Convention in December 1928 Jinnah sent a telegram, saying that he and six other colleagues of the Muslim league would like to meet and discuss certain points with the Congress committee- these were the demands for settlement with the Congress. Mister Jawaharlal Nehru was president of the Congress. Most of the leaders were ainst this plan, but Mahatma Gandhi, prevailed upon them to invite Mr Jinnah and his party to Calcutta. Mister Jinnah place the demands before a special committee, but all were rejected Jinnah and Gandhi were the only two exceptions. Jinnah and the outgoing president of the Congress party had accepted the Cabinet Mission, but were scuttled by the incoming president of the Congress party, none other than, Mister Nehru himself. I would also like, your listeners and invite them to a book "Shameful Flight and called by Stanley Wolpert. On page 141. "Suhrawardy hoped to lead Bengal to independent dominion statehood, urging Governor Burrows and Mountbatten to help them create an undivided Bangla Dash..... Two weeks later, Mountbatten asked Jinnah what he thought of Suhrawardy's proposal to create a separate sovereign Bengal, expecting him to be shocked by his Muslim League lieutenant's treachery. Much to Mountbatten's surprise, Jinnah calmly replied, "I should be delighted. What is the use of Bengal without Calcutta they had much better remained united and independent; I am sure they would be on friendly terms with us." Maryville met with Nehru on May 27 and "I asked him how he viewed..... Independent Bengal. He reacted strongly and said there was no chance of the Hindus. There agreeing to put themselves under permanent Muslim domination.", Scratch that. In the late 1960's, Brian Walton, who was at the time, a member of Parliament for the Midlands told me, that he had once asked Prime Minister Attlee, what was his greatest achievement. The Prime Minister replied, the independence of India. To which Mr Walton, suggested, you mean India and Pakistan? The Prime Minister replied, the letter was a pity. People can make up their own mind

Jinnah of Pakistan! By stanely wolpert is very fine book for understanding Jinnah's struggle for uniting congress and muslim league at one platform and he has very neuterally interpreted Jinnah about changing his mind of siding away from congress and struggling for muslim cause.

Congress was using Muslims for Independence and posing as One single party of India. Jinnah tried his best to work with congress but HINDUS majority Congress never ever support him. 1937 election proved it. Congress was using MULLAHS to counter JINNAH. CONGRESS was playing very intelligently. but JINNAH outplayed it.

Muslims considered themselves as separate but Sikhs joined with Hindus. Now you see what they did with Sikhs. Sikhs repent that they did not get a separate homeland and they are struggling for that today. Had muslims not got Pakistan they would be suffering in united India today. You can already see the muslims how they are living. Jinnah had many drawbacks maybe but he had more virtues and was of strong determination and how wonderful that he succeeded. So many intellectuals in India today are saying that Jinnah was right. Pakistan s bad luck has been the lack of leadership only. One great leader was Ayub Khan and the other we have today Imran Khan. Pakistan has a future. On the other hand we can see that India is doomed.

CONGRESS was responsible of partition of INDIA. Congress never accepted Muslim Demands. JINNAH was very visionary , he started politics from Congress, he knew HINDUS very well, after decades of working in Congress and with HINDUS , he came to the point that HINDUS would never ever accept Muslims Demands, and he was so right that today we can see that what is going in India with muslims by MOODI BJP, and what HINDUS are doing in kashmir. JINNAH was 100% right ,.

BOYCOTT, Gurella WAR etc Hindus were every where and using sold out MULLAHS like AZAAD, Jamaait ulemae Islam, EHRAR ul Hind, Jammat e Islami etc . so there are so many parameters back there but you covered only one.
