There are always interesting and kind of hard-to-find books in thrift stores. But it's nice you found many that you will enjoy. I liked the format of the video.

Thanks! I’m hoping I’ll enjoy Hamnet too. I thought I had a lot of cookbooks until I heard you mention how many you had,lol, and I’m not even close! I’m working on a bookshelf area just for them.

Fun haul! Hamnet was really good. I think you’ll enjoy it. Cutting for Stone is one I read years back, and it became my favorite book for a long time. Happy reading.

Glad that you found books in the Thrift Store. It’s been awfully hot outside where I live at as well. I have to keep mine Thermostat set on 68 - I cannot breathe if I don’t. My House gets awfully hot if I don’t have my A/C going. Once in a while I will have it set on 70 -72 but most of the time it is set on 68. I live in a 100 some old house so half the house gets hot and the other half stays cool. Take Care & Happy Reading ❤️🤗🔰❤️

I grew up in an old house and it was the same with the varying temps. I slept upstairs so it was usually hot and some days the fan in the window just didn’t do anything.🥵My hubby is a very cold natured person so that’s why it’s set so high. I’m comfortable around 76-78. Yes, it was a good outing and happy with my finds. I did wind up finding a couple of dresses too(1 for Summer,1 for Fall).

Recommendation for your tbr jar: The Sword of Shannara. 😂 Great book. 😊❤

We call them Op shops here and you never know what treasures you'll find. You found quite a few. I recently read NOSFA2 and will be interested to hear your thoughts on it. I bawled over a Dog's Purpose as well. Loved it though. Also loved the cameo by your sweet garden helper.

NOS4A2 is one I’ll most likely read this Fall. It sounds just like the type of book I enjoy reading. My little garden helper is also a veggie lover so in footage I didn’t show, she was a radish thief. Gotta love those fur babies!🐶

Yes, it’s definitely worth a try! Sometimes it’s a great day and sometimes it’s total crap.

Imajica is Clive Barker's masterpiece! I love this book so much! I've read it 3 times and always get something different from it. It's beautiful, rich and haunting. I hope you'll like it (though I don't doubt it) 😁

Isn’t it crazy how much some of the used books cost??? I’m a person who loves to match her books but if I wind up liking this series, it may not happen. I’ve found that true with a few others I have. It disturbs my 👀,haha!
