I recommend the Glass Castle! It’s a memoir we’re reading in English class this year, but it’s actually so interesting. It’s about the author’s childhood, and let me tell you, it’s absolutely bonkers. It’s a page turner. The book isn’t that long, and the chapters are really short. I like it a lot, and I’d love to hear your opinion on it. Love your videos!

I started reading the Throne of Glass series in september and I just started the final book today! I also did it a bit weird and read the assassins blade after the 4th book in the series 😂😂 Idk to me it felt more interesting that way to see why Celaena made all these choices and why she is like she is.

@@craftyannieinthelight3102 Yeah, I can't believe it's so popular. None of the characters or relationships were realistic. The plot was just the same thing over and over again. The big plot point in the final act was so eye rolling and bad. I don't get what people see in it.

We literally have the same book taste, my 2 dnfs last year were Tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow & legends and lattes

The perfect marriage I just read and in my opinion it’s very similar to silent patient like in the writing style. So if you liked silent patient then I would recommend it

My reading goal for this year is 50 books, I’ve already read 11.

i just read the assassins blade in a reading vlog, and i knew what was coming because i've read the first three books in the series. i was still SO wrecked by the ending even though i knew what was coming haha. i'm so glad you liked it!

I’m so happy I wasn’t the only one who DNF’d tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow. It was interesting at first but around page 200 I couldn’t keep going. It made me sad and had me in feels I didn’t want to be in. But for what I did read, I’d give it 2.5 ⭐️

You should read The Shards by BEE it came out in 2023, and is one of his best books. It might not be the typical book you read. But trust me, it's very good!

I definitely should I have DNF’d tmrw x3.. I only kept reading it and finished it because of all the praise for this book and I expected something interesting to happen. Well, one "major" event happened and it did not make me like the book more. I’d even say I found the ending unsatisfactory 🙃

I'm so sorry but my mouth dropped when you said you DNF'd Tomorrow x3. This was my favorite read of the entire year (and it was the first I read last year). It made me cry at the end because I was so sad it was over. My heart is broken--I really wish you could've seen it through :(

Oh no. I've just bought Tomorrow x 3 because people were liking it and it's being discussed at a local book club. I'm worried I'm not going to get through it now.

I'm so glad I bought TTandT second hand because I took it right back lol It was awful. Made it halfway through and just couldn't make myself finish and I rarely DNF anything. I truly thought I must be missing something since so many people loved it.

Real for buying another copy of Shadow & Bone because I spent 10 extra dollars to buy the original covers of the trilogy😭 It drives me crazyyyyy when my book series/books don’t match- some part of my brain just is bothered for no reason

Tomorrow x3 was really boring to me. I kept waiting for something and a relationship to mean something a little more than what it was. I should have DNF’d it. I know it’s an unpopular opinion but I can’t see the hype at all. I did read the TOG series and it started off very young writing style…. But it got pretty damn good by the end. The last 4 books were very good to me

I almost dnfed tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow too, but was buddy reading so i powered through. I rated it 1.75 stars. It was inconsistent. Sadie was insufferable. The jump back and forth didnt make sense when she deliberately made time move forward and then added important events as an afterthought that happened in the time that passed. The tone of the writing was inconsistent. It dragged on so long and the ending was sooo unsatisfying. I would have maybeeee liked it better if it was 200 pages shorter

I finished Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow, and I promise you if you don't like it by that point in the book, I don't recommend finishing it. I was lukewarm about it and I can't not finish a book unless it is absolutely atrocious, but it was just very repetitive. Like you said, it is a character-driven book, the plot is there just for character development but the plots does the same few things over and over and over, just a bit differently. The problem with that is you then need the characters to be likeable, which in my opinion, 2 of the 3 main characters just aren't. Marx is my favorite character in the book (slight spoiler but I hate what the author decided to do with this character later in the book), Sadie is just... there (I don't like her but I don't dislike her), and Sam is just downright the worst, he is pretentious and rude. I empathized with him earlier in the book because of everything that has happened to him, but it's hard to feel for a character who turns out to be a turd (to put it lightly). And the book is supposed to be about friendship (they supposedly love each other more than anything in the world) but they treat each other like garbage. I was so excited to read that book and it just disappointed me. I'm glad that I'm not the only person unimpressed by this book.

I’ve never been a fan of the Royal Family and Spare really cemented that for me. I felt so bad for Harry and hated how the Royal Family treated him and Meghan.

girl, I gave "Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow" 2 stars. Honestly, I feel like I just wasted my time on this book, the only reason why it didn't get one star was because Marx carried that book with his personality. (Spoiler!) and then they killed him off.... yays! The story was boring, the disabled arc wasn't explored enough for me, the relationship between the two main characters just feels unpolished and we just jump around in the story so much - I just didn't get invested and I totally feel like I wasted my time and money on that book. (Spoiler End!) In conclusion, I do not understand the hype around this book at all.
