Richie has his demons and the direction that Shanks took the band has been garbage. Shanks should have been let go after Lost Highway.

He was the heart and soul of this band! Jon should be ashamed for holding the rest of the band up so he can make his “better late than never appearance”! He has to have all the attention

+Nico Pelz I think she's using him and Richie is a sucker for a pretty (if that's what you like) girl. Besides,no matter how good PhilX is, he doesn't have a buy-in to the music and it shows. There's no chemistry anymore and that's going to hurt Bon Jovi.

How is she using him? She had her success, she played with MJ together and is great off alone aswell :) I know it might not seem right because of the age difference, but who are we to judge. I wish them the best of luck :) But you're right, Richie needs to come back :(

+Kathy Brown It's not my place to judge or assume anything about the RS & Orianthi thing but I do agree on your point about the chemistry. Sure Phil X knows what he's doing but the chemistry is gone.It felt like a one man show. That chemistry and the harmony of Jon's and Richie's voices, that was it what made the BJ show a special experience, well for me anyway. Besides, I love them both equally and I think Jon as well as Richie are great musicians but together they work better than on their own. My opinion anyway.

Okay, I wrote my comment three months ago! I have changed my mind about PhilX after several things that I won't go into, but I still feel that the original Bon Jovi sound had something that will never be duplicated! I think PhilX is great as a musician and as a person for picking up where Richie dumped the band! He is just not what a long time BJ fan is used to. That's all I meant with my comment. I've been a fan of BJ for many years and like many other long time BJ fans, the change is just taking some time getting used to. Richie, quite honestly after the way he left BJ, isn't going to be back and I don't think he'd deserve to come back anyway. Sorry if my comment offended you but it was my opinion. I think what you called me was a little juvenile and totally uncalled for.

Richie kept this band going! Jon had to make his prima Donna entrance while the other band members were out there practicing. One more reason I don’t care for him. He thinks his shit don’t stink. I am glad Richie got out when he did. He is a much better musician guitar player and overall person than Jon will ever be.

Je suis entièrement d'accord, sans Richie le fameux" groupe" ne vaut pas un clou!! Jon Bon Jovi ne se prend pas pour de la merde alors que ce sont les membres du groupe qui donnent de la voix !? Les albums solos de Richie sont dix fois mieux pourquoi ? Il a une voix extraordinaire guitariste de génie et est authentique !!!

back when jon could still actually sing, and the mix was setup to HEAR the guitar.. the RNR HOF performance was horrible.
