I love how he yells and accents "tell me what the hell is goin' on." Hinting to the security guards to get their shit together and get rid of these girls lol awesome!

I think it's a testament to how much he wants to give the fans a good performance ..he isn't just ignoring it and waiting for the song to end..he is trying to fix it as he goes along

That could have been a very bad injury for him when the girl actually attacked him on stage and wouldn't let go. He did wave away security at first, that was his mistake, because after that they had to rush in, and get her off of him. As far as getting mad that someone in the band made a mistake in the band, I know he could have played it off a little better than he did. That's embarrassing for anyone to be put on display like that, no one knows what he had going on in his mind, and thoughts. True fans pay good money to see them play, but there is a more professional way of just going about it. I love Bon Jovi, but Jon needs to slow his roll with his band mates, when they are having off days. Just like in the sports saying, "There is no I in 'team' " there is no "I" in band. You stand together as a band of brothers, not embarrass someone like that.

Perhaps I do, but for safety purposes, for both the artist and the fans. I have been to concerts where people have been hurt, due to something that could have been avoided.

Yes he does laugh off his own mistakes. Yes he gets mad when the other bandmates screw up. But coming from an entertainer myself, it's only because he KNOWS they can do better and he KNOWS the potential they have in a live show. It doesn't happen often that they screw up.

D2NN1S Alec did because it was constantly happening... and then went public... Jon doesn’t want to embarrass his bandmates to the media... Yes, he laughs at his own mistakes, but everyone keeps forgetting that this was always Jon’s band!!!! He hired these guys to be in his band! He is their boss first, friend second!

These aren't mistakes as in mistakes by the band. But interesting to watch all the same. Jon's irritability could have come from that particular leg of the tour ending and he was tired. Plus remember he blew out his knee years before. Some videos you can see him wearing a brace onstage, even limping. But he pulls through even though it's gotta hurt like a bitch. Say what you will, he's a true professional. And he's been in bands since the '70's.

When your Lyrics monitor isn't working sometimes you forget your own lyrics that monitor is there to help them. I would get pissed off too!!

Maybe it is his band, maybe he made it, but I think it's a bit too hard to say that "they work for him". Tico, David, Richie and Hugh have been in the band for a long time and they are widely responsible for the band's success too. Plus, in this life there's something called "humility" and "modesty". He could be humble and modest and he could be a good friend and bandmate and a good human being and not treat anyone like that.

All these years I thought sambora was just jealous being a side man....when all along he held that band together

Come on guys it was David who made the mistake. He was too fast. Maybe he was not listening to the "click". You see that Tico, Hugh and Jon are in sync but the keyboard is speeding so Jon says "NO" and tries to guide David to the beat. He gets closer to David and says something like "slow down" then Tico starts the snare beat so David finally goes in sync. The rest of the song is right. Jon is just into the music feeling as he always do. I don't think he was so upset at the end.

He was just into the seriousness of the song in my opinion

you can tell before the solo that the rhythm was off which is why he was doing those hand motions at tico to get the drums in line with the rest of the instruments

I've since learned after reading the comments from someone who was there that it wasn't the band he was annoyed with.. It was the audience.

The band work for Jon. He is a perfectionist on stage and if they screw up, he does pull them back in line. I think he was angry with Richie. I don't think it was the crowd he was pissed off with. Richie could have been drunk at not at his best. He's had issues with alcohol in the past. But it's not like Jon is just another member of the band. Everyone in that band work for Jon and he runs the band like a business. It seems to work for them.

Jon makes plenty of mistakes himself. Don’t pay out on the band until you’re perfect.

I also think that Bobby and Hugh were playing to slow so he was trying to bring them up to speed........ But Jon was in a bad mood anyway cos it wasnt a good crowd!!!

in dry county, richie's in-ear monitor (the one they're wearing in their ears) we're i guess out of synch so that's why richie's guitar riffs are off and he plays late from the rest... i guess that's the problem.... well that's just what im thinking, im not an expert with these equipments though...

Plus he is a hypocrite and I'm gonna tell you why. When he screws up onstage, he laughs and nothing happens. No one tells him anything. But when someone else makes a mistake, he gets angry and does this kind of shit. He is not such a big perfectionist when he messes up. It's Ok to make mistakes, it's not the end of the world, it could happen to anyone, but the reaction in front of a mistake is what I don't like.

Maybe I missed something, but I'm not seeing anything "angry" about the Dry County clip. Maybe a little irritated because he wasn't getting a reaction out of the crowd, or he had a bad day and just wasn't in a particularly good mood. To me, it just looks like he noticed something that was messed up and nobody was doing anything about it and was getting kind of annoyed that it wasn't being fixed. I really don't think he was angry, though.

I dunno. Jon looks really pissed in that one and it does sound like Richie missed his mark the first time and as a result the rest of the band ended out of the groove for a bit. He looked like he was getting them on track again with the beat. The second time the guitar was so loud that you could barely hear Jon singing. But I'll check out other versions of the song live and see if Jon always looks that pissed when they do it.

Make too many mistakes and he'll fire your ass. Ask Alex Jon Such!
