The vocals are on fire as always, but can we appreciate how strong the band is? Top notch performance all around.

There is just something about '80s music. I've said many times, I might be able to stay on a "decades" channel on Sirius XM for 4 or 5 songs...except the "80s channel. Once I land on that, I'm there all day.

Since Bon Jovi has such a distinctive singing voice, I was not expecting A to absolutely nail this. But this is excellent. Great work!

Her phrasing is always excellent. I've discovered a lot of lyrics through her singing. Jon Bon Jovi isn't even that bad with his pronunciation, but it still makes a difference if someone is completely doing a perfect lyrical performance of a song.

I have found in general that cover artists enunciate much, much better than the original artists. Without lyric sheets in the liner notes back in the day, we didn't know what a lot of these artists were saying. Now with all the lyric databases on the internet, it is difficult NOT to know (however, I have found some databases still have lyrics wrong in some cases).

This is not my favorite Bon Jovi song either, but it is very iconic and I kinda like this version a lot more than I thought I would :)

Boy oh boy did I enjoy that! I had no doubt at all about Mike and Cal on guitar and keys with Ben on drums would be amazing; great stuff boys! When it comes to Annalise, I wasn’t quite sure how she would handle it but boy oh boy did she ROCK it out! Nice grit where it was needed and overall a stunning performance (as always, who should I think otherwise?). For me this song is a bit of fun, it’s the first song I tried to play Bass with when I got a Bass (after playing guitar for years); it’s also the song that we used to hear every Saturday night when we were at our Holiday home, a Party boat used to come down the river at around 19:30 and every time it went past us Living on a Prayer was playing full blast 😂

Choosing between this and the Iron Cross version is just impossible. Just amazing.
