It's a great cover, no doubt about that...but she sounds nothing like Dolores. That's not meant as a criticism, it's just a fact.

IMY2's unique cover of "Dreams" would surely have made Dolores O'Riordan proud. The musicianship was outstanding-simple, yet rock-solid and perfectly synchronized across all instruments. Truly a standout performance!

For some reason, I think I forgot to add a comment to this video, but this remastered version is excellent. I wanted to take the time to reflect a bit on what is viewed on this channel and specifically what is the most popular. Browsing through the (very) long list of excellent original songs and covers, I noticed the best viewed songs are all extremely well known covers of pop-songs. They are all great versions, without any doubt, many equally as good or better than the original. One standout is 'Bullet', an original IMY2 song. It is very catchy, so that makes sense. It is also the only song that had a 'making of' video associated with it, so that might have helped it perform better too. It is the 8th most viewed song on the channel currently, which is great to hear about an original song. Gnarls Barkley - Crazy (IMY2 Cover) has a firm grasp on the #1 spot, as most viewed song on the channel. I think this is fitting, the song itself is extremely well known, but this version has extremely good vocals and completely covers the essence of the lyrics in both the performance and the music, while also staying true to the song's catchy sound that made it so popular. What I like also, is that a good amount of the songs on the channel that are highly popular are softer rock songs and some medium rock songs (or dare I say rock ballads), which is somewhat in line with the music that IMY2 also produces themselves. For people that like to see the top 20 list, I'll post it on patreon. It is nothing special, just ripped the data from Socialblade and reformatted it to plain text to be able to read it better. The band has millions of views on their most popular videos, that means a lot for visibility and I hope it affects the growth of the channel as well. Keep on rocking IMY2!

This is oldschool blue hair, no pony-cut like now but full strands. Both are nice, very stylish and original. The performance is excellent indeed, you hear that the song is remastered. It has a more rounded sound, almost like a perfect live version in a good music hall.
