Goods were not over packaged. When you bought food, you just bought food. You didn't get all this paper and plastic with everything. If we stop buying things that come with trash, we won't have trash. Nice video.

    fidel catsro Nope. The clip shown in this video is showing the wealthiest areas of India. The videos you see on the internet today showcase the poorest of poorest areas of India. That's the difference Literacy rate in 1962 - 18% Literacy rate in 2018 - Above 80% GDP of India in 1962 - $36,000,000,000 GDP of India in 2011 - $2,800,000,000,000 Growth rate of India in 1962 - Negative 5.2%... Which means india was going backward by 5% every year in GDP!!!! Growth rate of India in 2018 - Above 9%.. Which means Indian wealth is increasing at a rate of 9% Life expectancy in 1960 - 40 (average person dies at 40) Life expectancy in 2018 - 72 Fertility rate in 1960 - 6 (average woman gives birth to 6 children) Fertility rate in 2011 - 2.4 (average woman gives birth to almost 2 children) India was struggling in 1960s and it was one of the poorest countries.. Your fucking media won't show india in a good light

    Alex S Watch this video : kzread.info/dash/bejne/mGt3uZmMYN3eppc.html Moreover, all the things that the British had built which includes Railways, roads and infrastructure were collected from INDIANS through taxes and built by Indians labourers. Also, all these railway and road related things were not used for the intention of providing facilities to India but it was to serve as a medium of transporting goods from cities to cities for the benefit of the British. Saying India was under a good light under the rule (read loot) of British is same as saying that getting robbed is cool if the robber steals $1000 worth of cash, but also leaves behind a $10 coin, which happens to be built by the guy who got robbed. I can provide you 100 more facts to prove that the British is British only because of India and otherwise it would not have been wealthy

  • @theguywithanextremelylongu337

    @theguywithanextremelylongu337

    6 жыл бұрын

    Alex S If you have spent a lot of time in India, then did you communicate with the people that were actually from the time when India was under British rule (people that would be 80 or 90 years old) Also, most Indians hate only one country, which is Pakistan and nobody hates British because nobody knows that British actually fucked up India's economy. The best way to ruin a country is to ruin the education system of it. The British changed the medium of education from local languages like Hindi to English and taught the Indian youth that they (British) are actually trying to develop India and not ruin India. The British spread the propaganda of separating the brothers (Hindus and Muslims) into 2 new countries (India and Pakistan) so that they can easily rule and loot India. As a matter of fact, Indians ended up fighting against themselves instead of fighting the real robber (British).

Average Indian woman itself had 6 kids in 1962 and now in 2018, average woman has only 2 kids. Indian population shouldn't be blamed. India has been massively populated since the medieval age and that's why we have one of the highest population in the world!

    thanks for posting. mundane street scenes - people walking, shopping, etc - are so fascinating. love the shot rising up the front of a building, at 0:45. at 2:57 distinct change in quality (and color) of the film: different camera and/or film?
