@LaG Your comment shows very well how amazingly ignorant you are. When someone like you dares to say something as idiotic, I always wonder if I should try to enlighten them. Most pros won't try that shot because of their low percentage of success for that type of shot, which makes it close to impossible for them to use in a tournament for instance since they will miss the shot too often. Not Efren Reyes (and a few others but Reyes has all the shots). Reyes can do this shot in tournament because his chance of success is awfully high even for such a shot. Do you wonder why you got no thumbs up? Oh wait. That's probably because you get it and no one else does, right? Go on genius, be the most awesome shit there ever was in your world of illusions.

Lucky shot??? This is just a simple stroke for him. He do this all the time and in much more critical situation and he never fails to wow his audiences. Such a simple guy without any ego, so down to earth and perfectly great pool player. aside from his immense talent, the guy is legendary because of his humility and being so down to earth..not unlike most primadona athletes who thought of themselves so highly..

This one never goes old. Always watch it if it comes in my feed... no warm ups, I bet hand is moist with the cup of drink, wrapper in one hand, bag over shoulder and in one motion, and 2 banks after, ball goes in... how can you not be amazed by this?

If they ever do an anime/show/movie about billiards, this moment would be an unbelievable character intro!

Humility...The key to his supremacy...long live the king..

Efren would always say 'just got lucky.' But the truth is he knows what to do with this shot. The shot looks like an easy shot even though it's not. This requires not just knowledge in geometry moreso, Efren knows how to put right amount of spin and/or english and a slight jump on the cueball.

Trivia: In the 1970s, no one dared playing Efren in money games, ran out of opponents that made him forget billiards and worked in a printing press. Billiards was more of a gambling in the Philippines and not much tournaments before. That's how great he is.

Efren Reyes really revolutionized how to play billiards/pool, back in the days if there is no possible route to pocket a ball all they do is kick safe but when Reyes arrived at international scene of billiards no kick safe is safe for the man

This is how advanced Efren thinks, he already studied all the angles of the table so when he came into it he already have the shot... Truly the God of pool!

I love that reaction from the guy with yellow shirt.. As if he wants to go home and coz he suddenly he realized, that it made his day..

Alcaide secures the stick that efren reyes used for that magic shot. Bags it immediately. Wise guy.

hmmm... basically the conversations were about tournaments here and there they played on and plan to play on. a player completes a safety shot, and the onlookers admired how he was able to hide the object ball behind a cluster of balls crowding the top right corner pocket. someone spotted the maestro watching the table and suggested to let him to take a crack at it. onlookers said why not, so efren reyes was handed the cue stick. "no pocket," efren said, and boom...

taking that shot with bag on his shoulder and paper on his hand and making that shot. trully he is the God of pool.

It's April 23 2024 but still I always watch this legendary clip.. update efren still play pool 2024..I'm from Philippines, so yeah I always watch whenever he have game here via Facebook live, he still playing and cooking everyone..❤🎉
