Bologna is my favorite city and the food is amazing! I have been to Bologna over 20 times! I don't recall seeing any American tourists when there.

Yeah, I think the city is more of the who's in the know kind of place, it feels like authentic Italy at every turn, and yes, the food is truly spectacular!

Bologna was the first Italian city I visited way back when I was 22 (I'm 40 now), and it still remains in my top tier. The food is so unparalleled, and it's less traveled than some of the bigger Italian cities. This has given us so many ideas for the third trip!
We stayed in Florence and took day trips to Bologna...about 1hr+ by express train... love the trotellini in brodo

This is SO amazing! I would love to go there!! My Dad would have loved the sundial room, as he collect antique clocks for over 50 years!

Mark, thank you for sharing your time in Bologna. What an amazing hotel! Can't wait to return to Italy to visit Bologna. I live in Melbourne, Australia and haven't been back to Italy in 2 1/2 years. Bologna is definitely on my list to visit the next time.

Hello my friend, you will love the city, it's so special...2 1/2 years, wow, definitely a long time and certainly a new world for travel....it will be worth the trip for sure!
I stayed in this hotel in 2016! It is such a great location. I had no idea it was also part gallery... now I have to return! Next door there was a restaurant i went to and stuffed myself with bruschetta and lasagne. The next day I walked around seeing the sights and had aperitivo up the street. I also remember stopping at a nondescript restaurant and having amazing cheese tortelloni covered in black truffle shavings. Oh man.

I searched for videos of Lago di Bolsena, Lazio and I found this channel??? I'm going to check out his other videos on Bologna...my favorite Italian city too. Others are right. This was a promotion for just one hotel. Not even my style. If I may make some constructive criticism, the interview was so stiff, formal and overly scripted. It wasn't soothing. Nor were those fun house clocks or the many, many superlatives. And what was it; 7° inside? Brrr. But Mark here has gobs of potential. Keep watching him! He's going to be great.
Was it an ad? I only lasted 3 minutes before I had to pull the plug. Boring, dull and slow.

Not "bad" it's a reasonable video, and you have a nice style, but it is an infomercial. All about the hotel (more a museum than a comfortable place to stay) and almost nothing about Bologna. Misleading title. Who wants to stay in the best suite that has one tiny square window that isn't even in the sitting area? @@EuroTrotter
