Inspiring, colourful, use of patterns and mark making…..all done with your usual calm and gentle approach. I love how you break down a simple design and make it look so elevated. Also I really like your approach. I always come away inspired to try it. I even started a book just for pattern ideas.@@LouDavis

This was enormous fun! I was in need of some inspiration for an easy-ish, colourful painting that will afford me some meditative brush practice. Love the bright colours. I was gifted a 12 tube set of the Paul Rubens Opera colours and they are perfect for this project. Thank you & Happy Christmas! Love and Bless xoxo

Thank you Lou. I love the idea of creating different patterns on each corner, and seeing the end result. The colours are so cheerful. Lou, as usual, I love your latest tutorial. So refreshing to have something other than a constant barrage of watercolor florals, haha. Don't get me wrong, I love those too, but I really really resonate with the abstract and geometric patterns. I've been enjoying your other channel as well. Anyway, I have a number of your pieces that I've done a version of, but I don't want to post them on Instagram and tag you, because I don't want anyone to automatically think its my art, I'm lazy and don't want to have to explain, haha, plus I may eventually post my originals so I'm just going to DM them to you if I ever think to do it, lol...
