Marc Martel is AMAZING!!! He used to be the lead singer for a contempory Christian group, Downhere. I always said if you want to hear what Queen would've sounded like if they ever did a gospel album, check out Downhere's album, "Ending is Beginning." Lol! Marc also does a BEAUTIFUL job on the song, "What Child is This" from Downhere's Christmas album. He sings part of it in french (he's from Canada).

I think he has slightly more range up high (doesn't seem to struggle hitting any note from any Queen song that Freddie sang), but not lower so probably 3.5 octaves compared to 4+ for Freddie (including his falsetto). I think Roger might even have or had a similar sized range, even higher than both of them, but again not as low as Freddie (a natural baritone). Not as nice sounding though...

All I can tell you is that Martel was used much more than Brian May claims. Not sure why he is doing this. Also, Rami is not a singer. He states that himself. If he did sing in the film he would be showcasing his singing on talk shows, don't you think? Every time Martel is on a talk show he is asked to sing something in that "Freddie voice". I have seen only one video of Rami singing and it is not good but is a good fun. Rami is a very nice guy by all accounts though.
