This video would not have been possible without the generosity of Eric R. - Michael

Wow Michael, you nailed it! My friends 10-year-old kid saw a boglin at GameStop of all places… she was immediately entranced by the thing and begged like her life depended on it. It’s like her favorite toy she’s ever owned and the funny part is their entire family had no idea that Boglins was a “retro” property(even though my friend is 40 years old)… I showed him some vintage commercials and it blew his mind 🤯

Boglins were always awesome. I remember my Mom got me ''Dwork'' at a Kaybee Toy Store for my birthday. My whole family was enamored with him when we brought him home. I'd catch my Grandpa picking it up and admiring it at times. My cousins always wanted me to bring him out for them when they came to visit. ''Dwork'' even became a staple of giving out candy for Halloween. My Mom would sit on the porch step with Dwork on her hand and the big candy bowl on her lap, and when a kid would come up to get candy, she'd make Dwork talk to the kids, and joke around with them. They loved it. One of the coolest toys of all time.

I hand one and it was great. Loved the glowing eyes but a few friends didn't like to sleep over because those eyes looked creepy.

Great video! Boglins rule. Whenever I see an original I grab it (if the price isn't too crazy!) 😅💀

I still have some original Boglins and my 2 year old daughter loves them. First thing she does every morning is go into her toy box and pull out Blap and Klang.

I recently reviewed King Vlobb... Lots of fun to see these goofy critters back in the limelight.

I was in love with Boglins in the late 80s. When companies started preying on our nostalgia, I pleaded to the universe to bring Boglins back. Shaking your fist and screaming into the sky does sometime yield results!

Also Michael, if you plan to by more, while BBTS obviously has plenty, we’d love for you to try out Hella Dope Toys. They’re part of what built our company.

Always wanted a Boglin designed like the eyeball sentry from Big Trouble in little China.

Great review! ❤. I think the eyes in the original were like you said. From my memory you used to be able to move the eyes slow and steady. It was like the eyes were watching something move.

I am pretty sure my brother had one of these in the 80s. I don't remember it near as well, but it never dawned on me that it was made from foam rubber and would not hold up. Then again, by brother was so hard on toys, it wouldn't have held up no matter what it was made of.

Your riser totally makes that boggling look like he’s hovering!

Glad to see that, other than the loose eyes, they've made some improvements on these and that the prices aren't outrageous. I was a bit too old for these by the time they came out but remember seeing them everywhere.

I have two original Boglins that still hold their form. They are slightly bigger than these new versions. The hand area is noticeable small also on the new versions.

Besides Boglins and Sectaurs the only other mainstream puppets I remember from the 80's were called "Wrinkles" and they were the puppy equivalent of Cabbage Patch Kids. Nowadays the company Folkmanis does some excellent puppets for kids.
