BOGGED FOR HOURS crossing this river
This 400m river crossing was EPIC! Welcome back legends, in this episode we're leaving the East Coast of Cape York and crossing through to the West into the Gulf of Carpentaria. This is a dry, arid and remote trip through some beautifully WILD country and then... we get to this River Crossing that stops us in our tracks. We're bogged for hours.. Well 2 hours maybe, we didnt actually time it but it threw out our plans for the afternoon, haha. I hope you all enjoy the adventure and are looking forward to exploring the Gulf with us in coming episodes!

Great Ep Nath / Dane, looking forward to this adventure. Apart from the trailer brake, tire pressures everything in that sand. You could go down to 8 psi to get that foot print. I'm yelling at the TV, let some air out 🤣

Haha i know that feeling. This kinda caught me by surprise to be honest cause it didn’t look that bad and then I didn’t really stop and think about it I just reacted. 🤷🏼♂️ you’re right tho, tire pressures make all the difference!

Great entertainment as usual boys. I have an old 1987 Troopy. They are a remarkable bit of gear. Have been in situations solo which I probably shouldn't have been, to the extent that a couple of times I was in a bit of trouble. The old girl just her head down and got me through. Not the most comfortable 4x4 but nice to know she's not going to let me down. I love the honest old girl.

Nicely bogged Nath. Locked trailer brakes don't help either. What a beautiful place. We truly have the best country in the world. Let's hope that they stop sealing the roads and leave these out of the way areas as an adventure. Don't want every bozo in a Hyundai turning up and ruin the experience. Great video again, looking forward to the next one.

Boy this was an epic journey guys we loved it! A lot of gloating from Dane :) . Well Nat we where ready for this all mudded up like two chocolate Santa's ready for the flies. As we don't have a tinny in here we have to use a blow up inflatable (that's another story) but it serves the purpose. We also had a couple of breakages on our reclining chairs doing all the wriggling go through that bloody water with you guys.....but still living the dream, just opened two tins of crab meat. 😁👍 Take care until next time. Roy & Cheryl UK. PS Can't wait to see a croc, Cheryl has bought some more gaffer tape!
