BIGGEST BARRAMUNDI and MUD CRABS for days | Camping and fishing in Northern AUSTRALIA

Day 6 living from the ocean, rivers and the land deep in Cape Yorks wilderness. Its always easy enough to catch a feed of fish but this Barramundi was the biggest for the trip and makes all those nights sleeping in the trees worth while. We also find a patch of possibly 100 mud crab holes! What an amazing system this is. We feel so lucky to be welcomed into this country by its Traditional Custodians and given the opportunity to explore and fish these remote Australian rivers.

How awesome is it to know that these please will never be commercialised. No big apartment buildings. No freeways. Australia is lucky to have these places. And that Stingray, great footage.

That stingray at 20:34 brings back some good memories. I remember watching in awe in the Gulf as stingrays would leap out of the water onto muddy banks chasing mud skippers, then slide down the mud back into the water ready for their next launch.
