Boeing: US Prosecutors Recommend DOJ Press Criminal Charges

Ойын-сауық

United States prosecutors have recommended that the US Department of Justice (DOJ) press criminal charges against Boeing. This comes shortly after victims of the two fatal Boeing 737 MAX crashes asked the DOJ to impose a $24.78 billion fine on the plane maker.

It should NOT be Boeing that face these charges, it should be ALL of the senior directors that have to pay these fines. Bonus payments should only ever be paid out for success not failure. 😢😢😢

It should be Boeing. They’re criminals, liars and corrupt. They don’t care about your safety, only the bottom line. Stop defending the Billion Dollar Corporation.

Quite agree - it must be the directors and senior officials who take the wrap - until they are made personally liable they will never ensure their staff take all measures for safety.

Nobody will be held accountable and nobody will get into trouble. Too many in the ruling class are vested.

It needs to be people at the top at Boeing taking the hit for this. The workers with their hands on the manufacturing on the factory floor should get better pay and conditions to keep them motivated and should not lose their jobs.

I certainly agree that Boeing should be investigated and once proven that the people in charge of the Corporation at the time for withholding pertinent safety and operating changes to the redesigned 737MAX aircraft be held accountable including those FAA Inspectors whose JOB is to ENSURE the Certification of the redesigned aircraft type! Although any financial settlement will never be enough to compensate the families of the nearly 500 dead crew and passengers that perished onboard both Lion Air and Ethiopian Airlines flights. The root cause of both crashes was insufficient training on the MCAS system installed on the new MAX aircraft manufactured by Boeing! Boeing Corporation must and should be held accountable for their blatant disregard of crew and passenger safety!

Ok that money "adjusts" everything, but I wonder which are the indicators that will tell that safety and quality have been resumed at the levels of pre-disaster age.
