My worry is, if they missed something this big, what else did they miss that they haven't discovered yet? And what about all the 787s out there flying right now? How do they expect us to trust that those ones have been assembled correctly? Unless they physically check them all, they just don't know. They can say "they're safe", but how do they KNOW they're safe? If the ones in the factory slipped through the inspection, maybe others did?

They said it doesn't affect any 787s that are flying in service. thats like saying the a350 went through cracks but what about the whole in-service fleet what could they have missed. how would they expect us to to trust any aircraft that is out there that has problems
