I was having the issue of the Outift/Body and Presets tab being blank but fixed it by going to MO2 and right clicking BodySlide and Outfit Studio in mods tab then clicking open in explorer. The path shown is the same path you need to set Bodyslide to when editing the executable. Hope this helps anyone having the same problem!

For me it was linked to the Data folder used for the mods. click on browse and you should see the data folder, if not navigate to it. Inside the data folder you find caliente tools and inside that one BodySlide. Click on BodySlide and then Select folder. After that you should see the presets. After that change the path back so it directs towards the Data folder again or the change to the outfits won´t be applied to where the game can read them from. After that the presets showed up for me.

I had this problem when I had installed BodySlide as a mod in Mod Organizer 2. I fixed it by uninstalling it from MO2 and installing it normally in the data directory, and then running it from within MO2.

Trying to do this broke things further for me; now there are MORE outfits that aren't showing presets when I selected them. Be very careful if you're trying this.

I have an issue where presets vanish on choosing certain outfits. One moment, working fine, then choose 'x' outfit and whoosh - no presets. Only ever seems to be certain outfits though as you can select a known-working outfit and its fine again. Do mods require a particular file to enable them in BodySlide? Installed and running from MO2.

There's certainly info missing for Vortex users

I'll be honest with you, i don't have a clue why this happens with vortex. All I know is that i fixed it installing a random preset like "JB - Naturally Fit - Jane Bod preset" after installing bodyslide & outfit studio and it worked. I even uninstalled the preset after doing so and let me save my own presets back again, without that annoying pop up message telling me save error -2 or something like that anymore. If that doesn't work just check you're saving the presets inside Fallout 4\Data\Tools\BodySlide\SliderPresets, thats the correct path for the presets sliders files. so I might be miss understanding something as I can still not get the groups to show up in group filter. However, when I go to group manager, I can see all the groups but don't know if that's a good or bad thing. I also don't understand if I need to add the groups from there.

Ah, i wonder what i do wrong... I did it all in the right order and it's all set. I still get no result (Fallout 4)

I fixed the issue where the bodyslide never showed anything. But the image as i edit the body is a vanilla texture, and it looks weird. Will this vause issues, if try to use a preset like that in my game or is really not that imprortant of an issue? Im also about confused on how u download it to ur load order in MO2. I downloaded it from the files using install from archives, and when i manually check it it says its good. But when its installed it says that the mod is marked as deleted, you may want to check for an update, ir remove the nexud ID from this mod." I did have it downloaded via mod manager as a nexus download maybe thats the issue? Not sure. Edit: so my bodyslides arent selectable, on racemenu. This is so dang confusing.

Hopefully this gets seen. Can you do this for Skyrim LE? I've installed BHUNP and the files aren't showing in bodystudio. I can't run Skyrim SE, so I'm still using LE.

So if what ADHDecent said here hasn’t helped I recommend you familiarise yourself with the ‘open in explorer’ option when selecting a mod. CBBE, 3BA and Bodyslide all have similar folder structures. (Generally) within the caliente tools folder will be a preset folder. In this folder are all of *that specific* body mods presets, as well as bodies and so on. You can take a CBBE Presets XML document, open it in notepad and edit the text to ‘3BBB Body Amazing’ and that preset will then be available for the 3BA body. It works the other way too but 3BA I think has more slider options and so you would lose fidelity doing it this way. Once you’ve edited the presets XML document to point to the body you would like to build I would move it into the relevant mods preset folder. So take the edited XML that started in CBBE’s Preset folder labelled ‘for CBBE Body Physics’ and place that into the preset folder located within the 3BA mods ‘open in explorer tab’ now having ‘for 3BBB Body Amazing’ contained within the XML. You will now be able to apply your CBBE preset to 3BBB body (of your choice if you edited the xml appropriately). I reached this conclusion because I designed a kick ass bod for Sofia but the preset just would not appear under her Bodyslide body, so I extracted my preset from the 3BA folder, pasted into Sofia 3BA conversion mods preset folder and edited the line of text I mention and bam she was dummy thicc in an instant. I think you could simplify your folders down by moving a number of items backwards into the actual BodySlide ‘open in explorer’ folders but I haven’t actually tried that yet so if it breaks things either again or further I apologise. So if no presets are appearing in the drop down: 1: Is CBBE 3BA BODYslide installed correctly? Probably not you should see at least a few presets on one of the bodies. 2: It is installed correctly and you still can’t see any presets ? Check the Caliente tools folders within each relevant mod. If your building a CBBE body navigate to that mod, open in explorer and check the caliente tools folder has a preset folder and that folder has presets in it. 3: The presets are there and still not in the drop down for the expected body? Check each presets XML document for the relevant terminology and make sure right at the top where it reads ‘For (whatever body)’ it actually has the correct path, in this CBBE example it would read ‘for CBBE Body’ or ‘CBBE Body Physics’ depending on which one your using. 4: Actually I’m building a 3BA body so what do I do cause I ain’t seeing no presets? Navigate to the 3BA mod and ‘open in explorer’, check caliente tools, is there a preset folder? Does it contain anything? Are the XMLs labelled correctly? 5: Why is this so complicated? Because the best things in life aren’t easy, and jiggly titties in Skyrim fit in that category. Bonus: If your using Sofia and have the mod that converts her to 3BA/UNP/etc you can open that mod ‘in explorer’ and Sofia also has that similar Caliente tools folder structure, so you can effectively take any preset from 3BA or CBBE or even Bodyslide paste it into Sofia’s Preset folder and edit the XML document path so it reads the same as the body she’s going to use. I think for me it’s ’for Sofia Body Amazing’ or something I dunno I’m getting rid of her soon. You’ll have to do this before you meet her in game though or it’ll be seam-city all up in her neck and wrists and ankles.

Same thing goes with SKSE and other apps related to the game such as Nemesis. They won't function correctly if not selected from inside MO2 first. Thnx for reminding me that.

i got a problem with bodyslide saying no image on the body's such as caliente's beautiful bodies enhancer i use vortex with fallout 4 but the skyrim should be able to fix it as well

What is I can find BodySilde.exe in my files but when I try to add it as an executable it's not in my fallout 4 file the tools aren't there and a lot of other files are missing

Is there a way for fallout 76? I see when I go into the settings the first tap you go into to click the game you want to use and fallout 76 is in there just not when you first open the application but again if I click fallout 4 than go to the settings to pick a game fallout 76 is there. I just don't know how to even start making a body with fallout 4 body shape without all the dirt and such in fallout 76. I'm trying to use some mods from fallout 4 to convert or transfer mostly body like shape and, if possible, new skin and hair rather than clothes over to fallout 76. Any idea how I start this?

Regarding mods; you can have up to 255 PLUGINS (not all mods have plugins) if you want more than that you can convert some mods which are smaller from ESPs to ESLs (light plugins) which don’t take a plug-in slot. But, if I’m honest, once you reach the 255 threshold you’ll likely find mods that are overwritten by others so much you won’t notice them and you could remove them.

Does the program need to be installed as a mod even if you set it up properly in MO2? I didn't want my tools in my mod load order, but now I'm having that problem even when I load BodySlide through MO2 EDIT: I reinstalled to my mods directory after doing some reading and I got it working, so I think that was probably the problem.

So, I followed the Steps. Still nothing. Commented about this issue on another video, and recently found this one. Since then, I've swapped over to M02, and all files are pretty much fresh for both MO2 and SSE. CBBE is installed, XP32 is as well.

finaly i figured out why it did not apply to me, i instaled everything as it should i could see the presets just fine but nothing was getting applyed to the game, however the "game data path" from the settings was incomplete i needed to add " Data\ " to it and it worked, i have no clue why it was not applyed by default since i instaled it with the mod manager but i am so glad i figured it out because it was driving me nuts, because everything seamed to be working fine it was just not applying the changes to the game

in fact of missing tutorial for vortex i switched to MO2. Much better than Vortex. Thanks for help in more than one case!

how do I properly upload bodyslide presets to nexus?

I got the body slider to work in MO2, but it isn’t appearing in-game.

I don't use mod2, I use vortex. But one of my presets I downloaded is not showing up. The outfits show no problem but not the body preset itself. The mod is a 3ba body preset. The author uses mod2 so he/she cant help

Why do I have none of the cbbe outfit/body options?

i know for a fact i have bodyslide downloaded but its not in my skyrim special edition folder edit: fixed by manually placing the the folders from the manual download into the data folder

I followed your tutorial to install bodyslide outfit and cbbe, I went to run bodyslide and its blank, i don't know what I did wrong

@@UnderdogTactics nevermind I fixed it. I just downloaded an older version of bodyslide and surprising it worked with cbbe. I think it's because the older versions let you pick your presets from the cbbe file so it can appear in bodyslide

I feel like a scrub, finally realized i had to go to my Dashboard to find the "Tool" option, still gonna give ya a like lol.

Alright, what if I got nexus and it used to show it all and now it doesnt?

I can see the outfit/body but can't see the preset, how? Yes, I do have a skeleton, a body and physics instaled and enabled.

I don’t know if you’re still having this problem but make a folder called SliderPresets in the Body Slider folder and save your presets in there.

I installed through MO2 and everything correctly but it won't detect my outfits. It does detect my CBBE bodies and body presets.....but it won't detect any of my armor mods. They are CBBE/Bodyslide armor mods, so that isn't the issue. I was looking in the folders and found that in each armor mod there is a folder called Caliente Tools and it seems to have the data for Bodyslide (shapedata, slider groups, etc) however the same folders under the Caliente Tools folder that is actually in the Bodyslide mod has none of these files. I think it might have something to do with that.....any suggestions?

@@santiagocurbelo6528 I did fix it actually....it was a user error on my end. I use MO2 (so might be different for you if you don't....or if your problem is caused by something else in general lol) and I was opening Bodyslide by going to the data section of the right hand panel and opening it from there (essentially the same as if I had opened it from it's folder). That was the issue....I needed to go to that same right hand pane and right click Bodyslide and select "add as executable". This way I would open it from the dropdown menu in MO2 (where you launch the game and it says SKSE probably....right next to big button that says run)

@@santiagocurbelo6528 Additionally I found a workaround before actually fixing it the correct way.....but the workaround technically isn't the correct way and was a slight pain in the ass. If your issue isn't causes by that though the workaround was simply to copy all the shapedata and sliderset files in each armor mod (say from remodeled vanilla armors) and paste those copies directly into the shapedata and sliderset folders in the actual Bodyslide mod

I had the most trouble with FNIS....searched for days chasing a problem that in the end was fixed by re-installing it (since I installed incorrectly the first time as FNIS directory is incorrect and has to be set when installed)

Ok, I think I finally found a fix for my issue. When I installed Bodyslide I followed the tutorials I found and manually installed the Bodyslide files in the folder of the SSE launcher. That didn´t work because my mods are not there. So I downloaded Bodyslide via MO2 (Download via Mod Manager option on the nexus side) and enabled it. Then I adjusted the shortcut to the exe to use the one I have in my mod folder instead, where all my downloaded mods including Bodyslide go. MO2 then asked me which game to chose and I told it to chose the data folder in the SSE folder under steam (where you put the skse exe). Then all the presets showed up.

Youll need to ensure you have downloaded and installed a 3BA preset from Nexus, install it in your mod manager then batch build presets through Bodyslide :)
