Its not a powerlifter, its a football player. Benchpress had very little carryover on the football field. Give a bodybuilder vs powerlifter who've both have the same lifting age and the powerlifter will win.

Why didn't they do ONE REPETITION???????????????????????????????????????? This was muscular endurance, not power/lifting.

Not that it really matters, but I'm surprised no one called out the first dude for lifting his butt off on almost every rep. That said, he's still strong as hell.

Well, one thing for sure, that body builder is one strong dude.

The guy in the red is the bodybuilder - first I know him, second it's pretty obvious

I thought the guy in red was the powerlifter, as his form seemed more like a powerlifters. His back looks arched a bit and the legs are far more back compared to the guy in black. The guy in black seemed like a flat bench bodybuilder.

+Jon Harrison ikr, the guy in red benching style is very powerlifter except for that suicide grip, and the guy in black is a football player, i saw these vid before

the powerlifter was taller which counts as a disadvantage in any pressing exercise

Well the bodybuilder is on steroids. Plus the guy in the black is a football player not a powerlifter. I've seen this vid before

+Atty Hatfield I'm guessing they're both taking some hormones, but yes the guy in the red looks much more juiced. The man in the black is a football player and his bench press form was a little raw. His form seemed more like a powerlifters with his trunk lifting off of the bench, though he probably used strength training to build most of his strength. Bodybuilders usually lay flat on the bench from my experience and rep off weight in a controlled manner, but not always.

+MuscleBuildinGuide so you say powerlifter not reping off weight in controlled manner huh ? i think you want people think bodybuilding is superior than powerlifting by reuploading this vid, and saying the man in the black is a powerlifter, which is not, that ass lifting will not count in a powerlifter meet, he's not arching his back, and his grip is too narrow

It doesn't have anything to do with superiority. Most of the time when I see a powerlifting video, the lifter is more than 20% bodyfat and benching below the sternum in a very small range of motion. Bodybuilders are usually leaner and put up more reps, but not always. I'm not puting down any way of lifting, I just don't prefer powerlifting form myself. I don't think bodybuilding is any better than powerlifting, they are both advanced training methods that people use to this day to help them build muscle, strength, and stay healthy. It isn't 100% sure that they trained any specific way though. I posted this video because it was a very impressive set by both athletes, whether they're powerlifters, bodybuilders, football players, or strongmen, they still had to work hard to get that strong, and the proof is in the pudding.
