"Resistance is an everyday act. The work of excavating every tiny artifact of the oppressor that lives in you. Your call to be a balm to every self-inflicted wound is the way movements are birthed."

Where is the political substance? Right when I was expecting evidence and concrete examples of how self-love brings about political change she starts reciting a poem. I'm not interested in deciphering your art project in order to get advice I'll just find someone who respects my time
This is top cringe.

Haha but cringe isn't real. It is internalized shame and a projection of our insecurities upon others.

@@lonette8314 That sounds lame, "insecurity projection". Cringe is real, a real feeling that everyone is able to feel...

@amletomonacelli22 Yea because most people harbor shame and insecurities. It's all very internalized. I used to find things cringe all the time but it all went away when I adopted an open mind and stopped caring what other ppl think of me. A lot of other people will tell you the same thing.
