That’s a lot of work putting together a test fixture to show what’s going on. Thanks for the information.
Love your videos , also your voice is very easy to listen too . Thanks again .
Thanks! I enjoy you videos and appreciate your help!

Thank you so much for the support, I really appreciate it.
I've never calibrated the actuators before but I will now after watching your video! Great info, keep up the good work keep the vid's coming!
haven't had this yet ahead of the game thanks
Thanks!

No problem! Thank you!
I just replaced my lift actuator in my A300 Pulled both my actuators out and replaced the lift actuator. Recalibrated (SJC) I held it forward and to the right as I turned the key on and hit the green button. Heard them cycle but didn’t hear any beeps. I didn’t get the 32-24 code either. I got a 38-10 which is Actuator Calibration Performed. But everything is working fine.
I saw a post yesterday that has already been taken off. Hope all is well with you. You provide a critical service to many of us. If you need some lobbying on your behalf let us know. Thanks for what you do.

i have a 2019 T870. i have no lift or tilt. but I'm able to move the machine around still. I changed out one of the actuators and it starting working again. Then the next day it started doing it again. same thing no lift or tilt. so i swapped out the other actuator with the one i pulled off and it started working again. 10 minutes later same problem. it says DCU no communication. Can you steer me in the right direction on what to look for sir ?

I like when you say calibrate.
This is great ! Can you do it for both joysticks on a sjc machine?
Great video, as usual. How often would you suggest calibrating the HYDROSTATIC PUMP?
Can we do something similar to calibrate the speed on this machines? Just curious. Thanks a lot, excellent information.
Had a unit today with Sjc. Fault w3234. Unit drives with both settings just no bucket controls. Went through bobcat portal and did the TS. Pulled both actuators off and check spools. Center correctly. Re installed actuators and tried to calibrate. Wouldnt verify if it took or not. Then started throwing fault w3250 short to ground. TS to replace actuator. Ever seen this sequence of events?

Swapping harness would change fault codes

Thanks again my friend
Can you show how to calibrate the sjc on a R series track loader or skidsteer
I have a 1999 873, I’m replacing the tilt actuator and wondering if I calibrate as you show in your other video, on the bench before installing, does it still need calibrated after it is put in machine by computer, and or is there a manual way to do it as you shon in this video. My controller is keyless but different than the one in this video. Thank for all your help, your videos are awesome!

No need to bench calibrate, a 1999 may not have an option to calibrate through the controller.

So I guess my only option is to take it to the dealer after I install the new actuator?
@briancamerer1941
Жыл бұрын
So just stick the actuator in, it’s ok to not precalibrate?
@tetradgroup
Жыл бұрын
@briancamerer1941 the actuator itself is already centered. If you have an AHC controller then it cannot be calibrated, even by dealer. Just install and run it.

@@tetradgroup so I put the new actuator in. Still acts funny. It was the tilt one. Now it shutters, like it’s not opening all the way possibly? I took it to the dealer and they took it inside and had it about an hour. Said they were going to calibrate. Brought it back out and acted confused. Weren’t sure if they fixed it or not. Said they tried to calibrate. Stoped at office as I left and they said no charge. Took home and tried and it now has a shuttering on the tilt side. Then it throws codes on both actuators, lift and tilt. Now both actuators have been updated but I still don’t have a machine that works correctly. Haven’t ran much(just testing) I’m afraid to mess something up. Is there something you can think of? Seems to me it’s out of calibration but I’m just a dumb carpenter…. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!!
Hi, love your videos, I tryed to calibrate sjc controls on bobcat s130 and it did perform a calibration and it gave me 32-25 code(ACS Controller Calibration Failure) . Ive noticed tilting the bucket sometimes goes slow or very slow and if i do the tilt comand again or 2 times it goes normal speed. I have this problem only on tilt. No error codes on screen, any ideas? Should i look for an tilt actuator? Thanks

Hey, I have a 2014 bobcat s650 with H and foot controls. My question is should it go just as fast forward as it does reverse? Mine goes backwards much faster than forward.

Needs a steering setup, should be about even forward and reverse

Hi, I have a T740. I just bought it with a problem, the arms go up normally but won't go down unless the float button is used or the emergency lower valve is opened. No codes. I calibrated the actuators as you demonstrated here, no change. I rigged a lever to allow me to operate the spool manually, no change so I assume it is a problem with the control valve assembly. Just for kicks I swapped the hoses for the lift cylinders with the ones for the tilt cylinders and then lift worked normally but tilt only worked in one direction. I pulled the spool valves out and they look OK as far as I can tell and they move in and out smoothly. Would you have any suggestions? Do you think the problem is in the control valve? I notice there are relief/anti-cavitation valves and check valves in the control valve, is it possible they could cause this problem? Thank you

That happens when the auxiliary hydraulics are stuck on. Can you make a loop hose to loop the auxiliary circuit at the couplers? Either that or check the auxiliary spool next or try to operate the auxiliary in the opposite direction and see if arms will lower.

@@tetradgroup OK, if I unplug the auxiliary spool solenoid control valves, will that turn it off? I noticed that the auxiliary spool moves freely when I checked the other spools but I didn't know it was stuck on. Thank you

@@brucehumphreys1248 possibly, depending on what's is holding the spool out of position. Let me know what you find.

@@tetradgroup You are correct, the auxiliary hydraulics are stuck on. I didn't have a loop hose, so I hooked up a cutter attachment and it runs as soon as the engine is started. I am unable to reverse the direction. The auxiliary controls seem to have no affect at all. I disconnected the auxiliary solenoids at the control valve and there was no change. The lift arms go up and down normally as long as I have the cutter attachment connected. I had noticed previously that the auxiliary spool valve moves freely so I assume there is a mechanical problem with one of the solenoids? I assume I need to drain the hydraulic fluid if I am going to pull the solenoids out? thank you
@brucehumphreys1248

I pulled the auxiliary spool solenoids and found that the front one had a small piece of metal stuck in one of the ports. Apparently it was enough to hold the valve open. I exercised the solenoids with 12V a few times while I had them out. When I put the solenoids back in, the problem was gone. Thanks again for steering me in the right direction.
