    I always wanted to see WWE use this guy differently, but that is what it is. Heck of a talent with a great presence. I had no idea he had the issues he did with the fusions and all. If he's happy as a producer, then that's all that matters, no need to risk it in the ring.

    ​@@thefett4207Normally when a company is doing well, the main event picture will be stacked to the gills to the point that you have to be doing something damn right to even be a midcarder on the show. Also, Roode's character is more suited to being heel than babyface, but to be a TOP heel for an audience of millions, I don't think the Glorious version of him would've ever been hated enough.

    He’s solid on the mic too - he could be a great replacement for Ava or Aldis if/when they go back to wrestling. Perhaps NXT would work better because he was NXT champion, but obviously if he’s producing matches maybe they need him on the road.

    Bobby always reminds me of a Triple H V2. They move similar in-ring, similar speaking tone and same hair journey haha. Would have been cool if aitch managed Bob when he was still in the ring

    They could easily have done Evolution 2.0 with HHH in Ric Flair's role, Bobby Roode in HHH's role, and two other guys (Seth Rollins? Bron Breakker?) as Orton & Batista.

    Nice to hear he’s recovering well shame about what he’s gone through with his neck etc glad he’s found his feet producing shows but to actually see him on tv would be nice even as a manager for a talent perhaps

Look at his matches - he played the heel role within the match. Same thing with someone like Rhea Ripley right now - massively over, but PLAYS A HEEL CHARACTER.

    Selfishly, as a fan, I would like to see him in the ring more time and sing “Glorious!” at the top of my lungs. But if being a producer was always his goal when he joined the WWE and he’s happy doing that now, then that’s awesome. All things considered (injuries and whatnot), that’s a fantastic outcome. 😁

    Great to hear he’s still working there and enjoying it, had no idea about the spinal stuff, but I did see him during Smackdown the other night in footage of some of the talent arriving in Perth. It’d be sweet to see him get a quick Rumble run in a year or two and maybe even have an on-screen role as a backstage official or even a manager…

    As much as I've love to see it too, I just don't feel like it'll truly happen. It's clear Bobby doesn't want to risk it, despite being cleared. He definitely seems very adamant about not trying to get back in the ring and potentially become Droz 2.0 or worse. He definitely seems really happy to be producing which he wanted to do coming into WWE. That's not even mentioning how risky it would be for the other parts of his spine that are damaged.

    How was he underutilized? Former US champ and tag champ. Got sent home for failing a wellness policy test, then had lingering injuries which ended his in ring career… he was on the main roster for bout 3-4yrs

    From team Canada to Beer Money (One of the most underrated tag America's most wanted was better) to solo and being champion to going to the wwe. I followed his and Ajs career since 04 when I accidentally discovered tna of fox sports net. 20 years of tna and they said they wouldn't last a week.

    I'm just happy that he's alive and getting better. Even if he doesn't wrestle again, he's still a great on screen presence that I feel went wasted for quite a while after he got called up to the main roster. You can't look at his TNA stuff and not think he could've did so much more.
