He should have a Rick Rude type role.

I always wanted to see WWE use this guy differently, but that is what it is. Heck of a talent with a great presence. I had no idea he had the issues he did with the fusions and all. If he's happy as a producer, then that's all that matters, no need to risk it in the ring.

​@@thefett4207Normally when a company is doing well, the main event picture will be stacked to the gills to the point that you have to be doing something damn right to even be a midcarder on the show. Also, Roode's character is more suited to being heel than babyface, but to be a TOP heel for an audience of millions, I don't think the Glorious version of him would've ever been hated enough.

I’d love for WWE to have Roode as a on-screen GM, build a feud between Roode/Aldis and their respective brands, it would be sick

He’s solid on the mic too - he could be a great replacement for Ava or Aldis if/when they go back to wrestling. Perhaps NXT would work better because he was NXT champion, but obviously if he’s producing matches maybe they need him on the road.

Before his injuries, he should have definitely had a world title run, dudes a pure legend.

They could easily have done Evolution 2.0 with HHH in Ric Flair's role, Bobby Roode in HHH's role, and two other guys (Seth Rollins? Bron Breakker?) as Orton & Batista.

That’s why HHH gave him the NXT champion.

If he's happy doing what he's doing now, that's great. It'd be nice to see him on screen once in awhile since he's got a great presence, but no need to risk his health in ring.

Nice to hear he’s recovering well shame about what he’s gone through with his neck etc glad he’s found his feet producing shows but to actually see him on tv would be nice even as a manager for a talent perhaps

You can tell he still misses it sucks man back issues are no joke thanks Chris I didn’t know he was so injured and still working back stage I’m happy he gets to produce and who knows maybe some years from now we’ll hear GLORIOUS play again

I hope to see Roode come back he was so great in Tna hopefully he can come back as the IT FACTOR

@@CulEdz yes, were YOU watching? People singing along to his theme song doesn’t make him a baby face. Look at his feuds in NXT - against baby faces. Look at his matches - he played the heel role within the match. Same thing with someone like Rhea Ripley right now - massively over, but PLAYS A HEEL CHARACTER.

Selfishly, as a fan, I would like to see him in the ring more time and sing “Glorious!” at the top of my lungs. But if being a producer was always his goal when he joined the WWE and he’s happy doing that now, then that’s awesome. All things considered (injuries and whatnot), that’s a fantastic outcome. 😁

Great to hear he’s still working there and enjoying it, had no idea about the spinal stuff, but I did see him during Smackdown the other night in footage of some of the talent arriving in Perth. It’d be sweet to see him get a quick Rumble run in a year or two and maybe even have an on-screen role as a backstage official or even a manager…

Huge fan of Bobby from his TNA days; glad that he was able to have the Glorious years in WWE too. He could be a great manager too as well as producing.

I think Bobby would make a GLORIOUS manager for someone, but I'm so glad he is happy and got to being a producer, which was his end goal anyhow.

Bobby Roode is like William Regal or Triple H, solid solid solid workhorse, under rated in the grand scheme of things.

I sound like a TNA mark commenting on these Bobby Roode clips but I would like to see him one last time in a TNA ring and come out to the Off The Chain theme, even just a one-off thing they should make it happen

Underrated & badass. We all wish that he was used better & would have more dream matches but I'm also glad that he is happy where he is & not taking bumps anymore.

Loved Bobby always thought he was a great talent. Hate that he never got used to his full potential in WWE. Glad that he’s content with his career being done as a full-time wrestler. Wish we could’ve got him and AJ in the ring one last time.

Mad respect for Bobby Roode and all other wrestlers who put their bodies on the line every time they get in the ring.

As much as I've love to see it too, I just don't feel like it'll truly happen. It's clear Bobby doesn't want to risk it, despite being cleared. He definitely seems very adamant about not trying to get back in the ring and potentially become Droz 2.0 or worse. He definitely seems really happy to be producing which he wanted to do coming into WWE. That's not even mentioning how risky it would be for the other parts of his spine that are damaged.

How was he underutilized? Former US champ and tag champ. Got sent home for failing a wellness policy test, then had lingering injuries which ended his in ring career… he was on the main roster for bout 3-4yrs

hearing him say that hes still happy doing what hes doing is a-ok with me. if its what he loves then more power to him but "Glorious" will be missed dearly!

We need Bobby to keep that entrance going and act as a voice talent. His entrance was fire

Now this is a guy who is under rated. He had great runs at other companies and has worked his butt off where ever he was. I'd much rather see someone like him pushed to the top than for Cody to waltz back in and take over.

He's my favorite superstar forever. In wwe, no one is that handsome like him.... no man has that perfect abs like him. Love you BIGBOB:)

I was hit by an 18 wheeler back in 2019 and had these same surgeries a few years later. He’s not joking the pain is unbearable.

He’s talking the same thing that Big E I don’t see Big E wrestling anymore but keep doing what he’s doing behind the scenes

While I would love to see him back in the ring I totally understand that his health is important and his happiness. He’s definitely a legend and a future Hall of Famer

From team Canada to Beer Money (One of the most underrated tag America's most wanted was better) to solo and being champion to going to the wwe. I followed his and Ajs career since 04 when I accidentally discovered tna of fox sports net. 20 years of tna and they said they wouldn't last a week.

This is one case where people can't blame WWE creative for what happened to Bobby Roode. This is just one of those circumstances where something unfortunate happens. Honestly I'm just glad he's healthy and happy.

It would be GLORIOUS to see him back in the ring again but if he is happy with what he's doing now then I am happy for him

I'm just happy that he's alive and getting better. Even if he doesn't wrestle again, he's still a great on screen presence that I feel went wasted for quite a while after he got called up to the main roster. You can't look at his TNA stuff and not think he could've did so much more.

True pro. Not anyone fault just part of the biz. Most athletes have a short career and the ones that get decades are freak occurrences and taking care of themselves.

I would love to See Bobby Roode as a Manager, for a Wrestler or a Tag Team. He doesnt need to take Bumps or being active in the Ring.
