I would love as some point he gets the World Heavyweight Title or a major championship happy he holds the NXT tag championship. The best wrestlers may not need a title but him holding would be apart of the recognition of his work

Your statement to him about appreciating everything he does as a performer is exactly what I was about to type. The man truly gets it. I hope they give him time to shine as a face before he's done. Corbin is a legitimately amazing guy.

I agree, feels like Corbin can definitely play a Babyface, you can see it in how the crowd eventually got behind him during his "Broke" phase, even if it was comedic.

I was one of those who didn't appreciate Corbin that much before this interview. I thought he was just an average entertainer but geez, I couldn't have been more wrong about that. What an inspiring conversation! His grinning, his grinning and passion about what he does really trascend the screen. It shows that he has clear in mind what he's doing and what goals he wants to achieve. I have nothing but respect for Corbin. Now I definitely acknowledge him. Thanks both for this amazing content!

Corbin is the real deal. Former NFL player, golden glove boxer, one of the more athletic bigs in WWE. Dude is legit. I do fear he'll fall into that Dolph Ziggler position, where he'll never really break through. At least he would have a long career.

Man we need more wrestlers like Corbin. People who don't take losses as a personal insult and instead recognise that being a good heel means that seeing you lose is a pleasure for non-smarky crowds (because they should hate your character.) I don't hear actors crying because they had to play an unlikable asshole, and I judge wrestlers by the same merit - the best are either hated or beloved, i.e. they always get a reaction. Also love his viewpoint on protecting finishers as far as possible. As for what awaits him after WWE, I don't see him not being needed. He'll either make a great trainer for up and comers, but I wouldn't bet against him becoming the perfect colour commentator one day occasionally teamed up with Pat for good measure.

Fantastic interview with a class act, awesome wrestler, and even better person. Plus, an entertaining conversationalist - we should petition to get Baron Corbin on "Hot Ones" with Sean Evans, too! That would be a worthy watch!
