RIP to the late-great Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.
First we hear how Bobby says he and his family were treated by the Arsenio Hall show. Heenan was on Arsenio with Rick Rude back in 1990 in what was a classic appearance.
Then hear why Bobby says his "Bobby Heenan" show unfortunately had to end. This was a talk show hosted by Bobby which lasted only four amazing episodes.
According to Heenan, the show was canned because USA Network did not want the last 30 minutes of Prime Time Wrestling to be without wrestling.
The USA Network execs were upset and demanded Heenan go back to hosting Prime Time Wrestling instead. It's unforunate that the Bobby Heenan Show did not continues. I mean who could forget the oinkettes?
This interview was originally produced by RF Video Inc in 2002. Licensed for distribution on Title Match Network.

He Not only Loved the business, and when you Genuinely Love something its Not really a Job it becomes a Passion.. He definitely found his place in life, its just so saddening that he lost what was his Golden Ticket and within that Golden Ticket was the Ability what Every Loved about him so much.. Bobby is a Legend he was a big reason of why the WWF in the 80's was soo successful he sold all the matches he was involved in it didn't matter if it was his top heel Andre the Giant or if it was just the Brooklyn Brawler he gave it 100 percent for every story line he was involved in.

He proves the golden era was the best! He was funny without using cuss words or being over sexualized. Didn’t need beer, middle fingers or sex. Regardless if they thought of the fans as marks like we were all stupid and being con’d you could still bring your kids and enjoy the show. You could be a teenager who is struggling in sports or life and learned to believe in yourself. It didn’t matter to the fans if the wrestlers were in it for the money, for the belt or for the ego. Guys like Bobby made it fun and entertaining all for the price of a ticket or turning the tv on. Wrestling isn’t the same. I rarely turn on Monday night Raw I never turn on Smack Down. Vince made wrestling and he also destroyed it. I read Sting finally retired but not from WWE but AEW and think that speaks volumes about WWE, enough said.

@@Nostalgia9478I enjoyed the attitude era as a teen, I won’t lie. What I dislike now though is now fans who think it’s the end-all be-all and that you can’t have gripping stories or humor without being crass. 80s WWF was still pg-lite yet entertaining. It’s not the family friendliness that makes WWE a snooze fest today, it’s just bad writing. A lot of stuff like Piper’s Pits segments still hold up and wipe the floor with 90% of the in-ring promos today.

Sad to watch these interviews. Heenan is a lot worse than his years on this show? I liked Heenan. But even before this. Was time to go enjoy the money in peace. I think Heenan enjoyed it but Monsoon was a different part of the business. Monsoon was management. Heenan was an employee. Bobby didn't sugarcoat things. He said exactly what he felt. I don't think Bobby enjoyed his time in WCW. After Monsoon passed he was never the same.

@@DixiePokerAce Bobby looks ill in this interview. He's semi drooling. Like he wants to get things off his chest. But in reality none of it matters. He's gone and that part of the business is gone. It's all gone. Nothing he said mattered? Why not just let us remember him for the light hearted stuff, as you say, with Monsoon. Rather than this bitterness. Lots of them ruin the memories trying to make a point. They said what the needed to say when we enjoyed watching them. I have watched wrestling since I was a child. But I can't watch much of the modern products. I did go see TNA live twice around 2013/14. Second show was amazing. That was about the last time for me, it was about what went on in the ring. WWE and 20 mins promos do nothing for me. NWA seemed to have gone back to the old style for a while. But even that's gone now. That's caught up in the modern rubbish. LA Knight about only good thing in wrestling and I nearly bought an Eli Drake T-shirt years ago. Wish I had.
