Bobby Burgess was a child prodigy, he’s a popular dancer best known for his performances on The Lawrence Welk Show from 1961 to 1982. Bobby began dancing at age 4. At age 13 Walt Disney hired him to be on the original troupe of Mouseketeers for The Mickey Mouse Club. During his over 20 years on The Welk Show he had 3 dancing partners: Barbara Boylan, Cissy King, and Elaine Balden.

My parents loved the Lawrence Welk Show and little by little I started to watch, too when I realized that Bobby was from the Mickey Mouse Club! That show was "wunnerful, wunnerful!" ❤
I loved everything about the Lawrence Welk Show….even got to meet several stars years ago in Victoria Canada. Mary Lou also…..love you all.
