Barbara Boylan made her debut on The Lawrence Welk Show with dancing partner Bobby Burgess in 1961. Barbara was the first of three dancing partners Burgess had throughout the show. She and Bobby knew each other since childhood when they both attended the same dance school. Boylan stayed on the show until 1967 when she married fellow Welk cast member Gregg Dixon.
