I was listening to someone who had worked with Bob Woodward, and he said Woodward was absolutely meticulous. He kept transcripts, recorded conversations, made notes, fact checked, had other people verify what he had written, vetted sources and information, and his reporting could be relied on.

That doesn't mean that there are also 'other truths' out there. I simply stated that 'his (Woodward's) truth(s)' don't really resonate with me. That's all. So-called 'evidence' is highly overrated in my opinion, like people getting crazy when people in powerful positions 'lie'. They all do. I don't care anymore. I rather look at the results of a man's behavior to be honest.... Bob Woodward is a national treasure. At the beginning there it seems as though he foresaw an impending crisis on the horizon and came to a conclusion of sorts that the chaotic nature of this administration would both be responsible and escalate the enormity of what would follow years later. And to think the majority thought Trump was the crisis all on his own. Little did we know. Thank heaven the elected crisis is out of the picture. His incompetence and pathological shortcomings have caused enough damage to this once great nation.

Being a medic and working with MD's everyday who OK people for duty or not and having served with plenty Vietnam vets who would say the same thing I'm saying gives me about 99% more perspective than you. trump is a total coward as i stated he cannot even bring himself to visit the troops in war zones. His greatest worry and these are his words was acquiring an STD during the Vietnam era while he was out clubbing. Trump totally would have been given a blanket party(Being hit with Combi locks wrapped in a towel) and then when they were really tired of having to carry his weight and seeing him get others killed--they would have fragged him. The same thing is happening to him right now, he is dangerous because he cannot see how inexperienced, out of his depth, under qualified and just how plain stupid he is---no Platoon or military operation is going to take the risk with someone like that. Ask that SEAL Officer who did the raid on Osama Bin Laden what he thinks of trump. He's the commander that asked trump to take his Clearance when trump stripped Brennan's. Why are all these people from the inside coming at him? They're truly worried what trumps incompetence is going to do to our safety. You have met guys like trump before in your life and you said what I'm saying but because he had the platform of a TV program he seemed legit. Maybe you like that he uses racism? Not sure why he's your guy--and no I did not vote for hillary. It's all going to come out about trump and you very well could be absolutely sorry for being conned.

I’ve had such disdain for an American President that “tweets”. I have had no respect since the very first tweet when this all started. It’s a security issue and it creates low moral as we see now. We need Government that takes care in not to be loose lipped. It sinks ships I’ve heard. Not qualified for this job people. Stop this circus we have become.

Rebecca, I listen, and his truth doesn't really resonate with me. Could it be that truth is a personal thing after all? Otherwise wouldn't we all have the same truth, if truth is omnipotent, omnipresent, universal etc. I feel, unfortunately, that is my truth! Ignorance, like beauty, lies in the eye of the beholder I guess. Have a truthful day, with some listening of course, and maybe some observation or listening with your heart if you will.....

I personally know of a woman (39 years old) who died from Covid and a coworker was out of he office for a month with Covid (she said it was terrible - worse than anything she had ever experienced). Mail-in ballots DO present an opportunity for fraud - especially since the President has told his supporters to vote twice (which would, of course, be a felony). In Arizona, 80% of all votes cast are mail-in ballots - and we've got a very conservative Republican governor and legislature. Arizona's governor (Ducey) angrily defended mail-in ballots yesterday, saying that we've been doing it this way for many elections and have never had a problem. It is interesting that the Ducey has never said a bad word publicly about Trump and often defends him. Logic tells us that requiring old and/or sick people to go where there might be a lot of people could result in their premature deaths. The only other options are not voting or voting by mail. This is not a "right" or "left" issue. In fact, there really is no "right" or "left" since everyone holds some right positions and some left positions. And those are the "despicable" facts.

Matters not that many of Trump's strongest critics are his closest confidants. The Trumpster's standard of truth and probity is simple: what the leader says is so.
