This man had so much love for animals, God bless his soul.
It's 2am and this is possibly the best accidental side of KZread I've ever come across, my childhood is back

I like how assertive bob is when he says " and its one of the most beautiful little birds that you've ever seen" as if you are to agree or pay the consequences. 20 years in the military and the man paints with a fuckin knife. That is the most beautiful birds I have ever seen. RIP Bob. I don't think I will ever stop watching your show.

He's socially really intelligent while being just disciplined and calculating enough to understand what needs to be done to reach his level of success. The appearance of happiness, but he was all about maintaining the shows success
That intro is legit 😂

Ever since I first saw Bob on PBS twenty years ago I fell in love with his style and approach. Last year for a gift idea, my wife bought me the basic starter kit. I have been painting happy little clouds ever since. You really can paint beautifully with this method, ANYONE can. If you have been wanting to try this but weren't sure if you could, stop wondering and go for it! But... be prepared to fall in love with painting and that means a pricey hobby. On could always try and duplicate with acrylics, but nothing is as satisfying as an oil painting masterpiece of your very own!

@robinnewton412

I switched to acrylics because they are less expensive & dry faster. I learned this technique in a correspondence art school. I share a small apartment & I'm thinking of rearranging it somehow so I can get back into oils; there's nothing like it!😍

I use acrylics. I guess if I get brave I’ll try oils.

Bob's voice was so comforting and calming. Watched him all the time, even waaaaaaay out in the bush country of Alaska, thanks to recorded shows.
I absolutely love this show. It''s absolute television gold. The world is a better place because of Bob Ross.

I always loved this one, and I was waiting for it to pop up on the official channel. I loved the falcon at the beginning, and the painting itself is VERY warm in color with the leaves and that one big ol' tree. Excellent job Bob *claps*. And I hope we don't have any dislikes or else I'll have to beat the devil out of 'em

mr. ross, thank you for the memories and god bless you too, sir.
Nobody can produce happiness like this man can!! If i could stay awake i would have loved to spend a day just watching him live!!
Hes nodding his head as Bob says he’s gorgeous BECAUSE HE KNOWS he’s gorgeous (‘: so is Bob
You've been gone 25 years but your legacy lives on. Love you Bob!
The theme song sounds so different now than when I first started playing these videos. Before it was that chincy soft jazz from the '80's. But now I hum along to it and we'll, kinda like it.

This makes me so happy and relaxed i don't know why but i love this
Bob Ross a member of the holy trinity of wholesomeness. He represents kindness toward yourself, making friends, and doing things you enjoy. Just as Mr. Rogers represents kindness to others and Steve Irwin, kindness to animals.
"He'll probably want a raise" You just know the dude is frozen with fear at the thought of a devil beating if he even tries
Hadn't watched Bob in 20 odd years but when I saw "van Dyke Brown" it all came back.. Man's a legend.
Tried to watch while stoned, bob you put me to sleep you magnificent painting man. :)
To quote my favorite comment from Bob Ross’s Rustic Winter Woods video: “You ready?” I guess so. _PAINTS A GIANT BLACK LINE_ I wasn’t ready Bob.
His best, it looks like an old master, layers, depth, light and shade, classic. x
I used to watch Bob Ross years ago on our local PBS station. He's the best. It brings back a lot of memories watching him again on KZread.

One of my favorite songs by The Doors!
Não se cansa de apreciar BELAS PINTURAS.
Lots of trees, my favorite, thanks Bob
Much admiration / appreciation for such humanist preferences that has always been presented on this great show that is super inspirational in demonstrating much respect to our dear creature brothers/sisters for it is well with the escape always especially as a avid explore of the natural beauty countryside which is truly missed so when viewing “The Joy of Painting” is very therapeutic indeed so kudos to the dearest Master painter brother Bob Ross the psychological comfort encouragement that ensues the network for you as a archetype is fully scarce out here so Praises and Thanks to Thee Thy Holy Spirit IAM NTR Yahawah always.😢😢😢😢😢
If you are watching this in 2020. He is a legend.
another great little painting 🌲🌾🌳 I always have to think of school time when I learned painting like this from Bob Ross. We watched lots of videos and I am so thankfull to my teacher that we discovered Bob who taught us to make our little trees more happy 😊 Thank you Bob, I love love love your painting🍁⛅🙏

The big ol tree gave me some stress when he started swiping brown super heavily at 21:00 or so... then he fixed it haha. Good ol Bob at his best. The tree log was super cool they way he made that with the knife.
Que perfeição muito bom parabéns

Liquid hwite
He said in other episodes that sometimes people complained about him putting dead trees in his painting. Now, that tells me that there were people that were way too sensitive back then too. But in this paining he really went all out. Put a dead ROTTING tree on the floor. And it looked amazing. Might be one of his best paintings.
Nice work.
Merry Christmas Bob.
Very good ideas and combinations the color nice and beautiful design with This drawing very natural landscape you very much
C jolie tableaux
Such a cute creature 😍 💕
Very nice and beautiful design with This drawing very good ideas thank God bless you very well and good tichel
I loved these types of paintings he did in the later seasons. A very unique canvas preparation, and the overall setting is moody instead of just sky/water/mountain/evergreens. I know it's unpopular to say, but there's a reason his son never would have been able to take over this show, and that's because he was only able to produce the same type of painting over and over. (Plus his trees often looked REALLY bad.) Bob had creativity and classical art training and could make a much wider variety of landscapes.
I had a kestrel sit on my shoulder the other day
