I love the way Bob looks round at Dave, I think he more than anyone can’t believe how much energy the bloke is putting into this song. One of my favourite Du tunes. This whole performance is absolutely breathtaking 😁

New Day Rising has been my personal anthem since it was released in 1985. It was the song I used to get myself hyped up when going out. Nothing will ever be better than the original. However… this version did blow my mind. It gave me chills. Thank you for posting it. ✌🏽❤️🎸🍄

Excellent performance. David Grohl was expressing Grant Hart. I like Grant Hart's drumming. He had such a cool way of playing drums. A very personal and emotional way of using the drums. I give Grohl credit because he hung tough and didn't fuck it up.

I have to be a heathen and say that as much as I love the Huskers, I've always hated the sound of the drums. WAY too affected. It's nice just to hear drums without all of that phase and chorus and flange. It's also nice to hear Grohl playing the drums again.

I’m asking this as a drummer: I wonder if Dave Grohl ever practices? He never seems to get any worse. He was always great, but now he’s older. Yet he’s clobbering the crap out of a drum set like a pissed off 22-year-old. How?
