The Exodus Tour was a concert tour organized to support the album Exodus by Bob Marley & The Wailers.
The tour began at the Pavillon de Paris, Porte de Pantin in Paris, France, on tuesday May 10 1977, and involuntarily ended with four shows at the Rainbow Theatre in London in early June; actually there were six shows planned to be performed in London, but the last two shows had been cancelled due to Marley's serious toe injury he received in a football friendly game with French journalists just before the tour's start in Paris. Subsequently, the tour's second leg in the United States had first been postponed and then definitely cancelled. The last show of the tour has been released on VHS and DVD, labeled Live! at the Rainbow and now rereleased in HD quality, with improved sound, missing song (Burnin' and Lootin') and its raw, uncut glory. It is reported that all four shows have been recorded and taped on video

Who is enjoying this concert in 2024? Damn! I was 16 years old when Bob Marley died, the same day my 3 yr. old niece succumbed to congenital heart failure. Man I am still feeling the pain of both bad news that day. Found out in my twenty's Bro. Bob and I shared a birthday. Bob Marley is a Messiah.

My friend convinced me to see Marley & the Wailers at the Montreal Forum in 1979. I didn't know what to expect, since I only had a vague awareness off reggae. Bob alone in a white suit before us, invoked spiritual guidance. The band was silent. Then the awesome powerful rhythm section kicked in with thunderous bass syncopation, followed by the most amazing and lovely reggae melodies and singing. Stand Up! Stand Up For Your Rights! I was completely transported by their mystical musical gift. I'm not a rhasta, but as Bob sang: "One good thing about music, when it hits, you feel no pain".

I love Bob Marley. I am from Tigray. He blended beautiful music with message of peace, liberty, equality, and political struggle. A great artist.
I shed a tear a got goose bumps on the war song going into no more trouble song. It's not many artists that give me this effect and feeling. His facial expressions his dancing soul and voice along with what he represented and the ladies and the band....legendary moment! I wish I was there to experience this.

Bob knows the capacity of life & how every individual should respect one another with fairness & understanding. I'm at the point of not even trying to figure out why toxic overbearing creatures do what they do by their own assumptions & not finding a conscience to pray to God for mercy. That's why I love Bob's simple strategy to overspread his realization thru his ultimate spiritual music which is the key for being a real human bcuz death & life could be short .so why create Satanism. Bob is one of God's messenger, like our Prophet Jesus. I literally love his divine talent & his lyrics along with his great band of musicians especially his guitarist . Bob knows how to soothe my soul & I dance & rub a dub non stop.. my dad passed away over 20 yrs. but I never thought that he knew how much I dig Bob's music & his ultimate lyrics. However I would get glory dreams of my dad, & in one of my dreams my Dad said dem boys & Bob are anxiously awaiting to play music for me. This is one of my favorite. Look at that guitarist I have to dance right now & lively up myself. I'm certainly not a drag Bob. ❤😂🎉
When I was at boarding school I heard my first Bob Marley album on tape cassette that was in1979 I thought he was from my country New Zealand he had that kind of thing about him I only heard him sing never went to the concert but rastaman vibration was the first album I heard his earlier stuff like kaya catch a fire but rastaman vibration was inspiring it had all the hallmarks. Of a coming revolution not war but the music revolution Bob Marley is the root and as we all are roots and branches of the tree of life. These are the thing's Bob Marley brings out in me it's like he is speaking even from the grave it is a strong spirit moving through us and around us

Man...every time I hear/see Bob and the Wailers live, I'm in absolute awe at how crisp and tight they sound. No easy feat to get all those syncopated elements of reggae to come together like this. No wonder they annihilated The Commodores as their opening act. 😂
There are humans sprinkled through the family, tasked with holding the torch of ONE LOVE. We need to organize. Period.
Bob was a generational marvel, we still need to cross another river though, the devil and evil are everywhere, no help Bob...... Great Concert, thanks Bob Murphy and Matt Fraun for introducing me to this music and to Bob Marley.

I just started listening to The Wailers and wonder what happened to the rest of the band. They need a new torch like AC/DC had done when they lost Bon Scott. The Grateful Dead too. These bands hit home with their messages. Thank God it has been saved by recordings, but the stories are still out there. We need love All around the World. The job is not done.
11-12-23 listening to this again with my 52 year old ears, as a young man I enjoyed him because his music without considering the lyrics much gave me (in other words I took from) inner peace because of the beauty and positive feeling I took from his music. Now with life being what it is today, I have so much more respect and love for him as a true man telling his truth to the world for all to see! Young friends, there is so so much wisdom here that is very important to consider. He speaks his truth of mighty importance in todays world. Forget what you were indoctrinated with, turn the tv msm off, feel with your soul where the truth is. I am more certain now that the deep state killed this man of we the people because he did not back down from telling his truth. EVEN IF IT COST HIM HIS LIFE! This is what a freedom fighter really looks like! Close your eyes, and feel with your spirit, there is truth to be found but you have to set aside what you've been taught, it's likely a lie and not from your creator. Please pay attention, for these are important times, if I have to give my life for the next generation to be free, I will. I do not care who or what you are, you deserve a better world than what we have. Hang in there and know we are in a s. storm of lies but good men and women are fighting! keep the faith and fight in your way. They f d up messing with the children, greed I can deal with, harm kids and its time to get off my planet. The truth is ugly and makes me want to throw up but like Bob, we will fight for a better world at all cost. My love to all of you, stay strong and trust your internal feelings, ask for truth to be shown to you and it will. Do what's right, its that simple. God wins, hey pedos we are coming for every single one of you! Freedom to all people but most important to children!

TRULY A LEGEND, ONE OF JAMAICA'S GREATEST SON, I'M PROUD TO BE FROM, ST ANN THE PARISH OF THIS LEGEND'S BIRTH PLACE, I VISITED HIS IN NINE MILES ST ANN IN 2021 VERY SACRED AND PEACEFUL, ❤❤❤❤SIP BNM❤❤❤ONE LOVE ❤❤❤❤
Lucky enough to catch Bob Marley during the last year of his life at a theater in Chicago that seated about three thousand people. Mr.Marley was tremendously under appreciated until after his passing. One of the greats of all time and a prophet for the ages!
This is in the top 3 of gigs I would choose to time travel back to.
❤ Bob Marley that's one of the greatest seniors He's been deceased for some time now but it's still lit his music is a foundation for the black man All you have to do is follow it. He was a true Rastafarian and I respect him to the floor because he lived we believed God bless Bob Marley and his family , I'm from Kingston Jamaican myself

Every time l watch this concert I cry. For me is the best concert of all time of a musician. Bob Marley king of reggae and king of music.
I am happy that the Aquatica waterpark in Orlando, FL pays tribute to the spirit and the environment of Bob Marley. His music in this concert is in the background and essence of the wonderful islander spirit of Aquatica. I want to leave work now and go relax to Bob Marley music and the Wailers!
What a fabulous performance !!!! This never gets old ! Peace and LOVE to all !

That song always makes me wonder if some police officers act like bullies and forget to be the good guy at times. Protecting everyone no matter what they look like is the ideal way. First Blood-Rambo, reinforced what I imagined the hippies and vagrants, must have gone through back in the 60-70s. Heck, I watched an old Roy Rogers Western film, where it was mentioned that vagrants were not welcomed and would be arrested. How is anyone able to work if they aren't even welcomed in the city where there is people?
