This is mostly just visual fun. But in the years I watched Lawrence Welk I can't recall seeing the trombones in the middle of a scene for such a long time! In this case, the trombones are the "eye candy." Early on we see my two favorite trombonists, Bob Haven and Kenny Trimble.
