The 90’s where good years Thank you for the video

Pastor Chuck was a brilliant bible teacher. I'm so grateful that we have a couple of generations of his teaching on dvd/digitized (Ken Zenks channel) I still learn from him. Bob Coy was especially good at making the bible relatable.

everyday i learn from jesus and his word holy sppirit. yet this chuck smith what a mentor on christianity has been for me. plus i never thought i would pray for 5 hour in a row. with

cool ! I took a look at some of your video's Great scenic shots ! and good sound quality.

This was my first video taping of a pastor's conference. I had done weddings,legal depositions etc. - I was on a tripod of course but I was close to 100 feet away. It was my introduction to Bob Coy. I didn't know who he was - he was sitting in a chair right by my camera. I thought he was some regular guy who came to hear the messages. Then he got up and went to the podium to speak.

That is Bob Coy, I sat next to him at an event once, he took the worst seat and then got up to speak. Very humble guy.

@fredreker thank you ! every once in a while I need to hear that because I have others to put on also.

Romaine was Chuck's right hand man who served in world war 2 and brought that world war 2 mentality with him. Gayle Erwin explains who he is exactly in one of my 2 Gayle Erwin video's - I don't know which one though - so I guess you'll have to watch both. Thank you for watching !

@hgwoldemar I sold these videos at the conferences. I knew they were good and that a lot of regular people and other pastors would like to see this. For years the original S-VHS tapes sat in boxes in my kitchen. Then for years in my basement - then youtube came along.

@peadardoyne Exactly ! and Chuck seemed to wear the same red sweater every other year. Part of his depression era kid influences combined with serving the Lord.

1Timothy 3:1-7 gives a list of qualifications. If a man cannot manage his household well, how will he take care of the church of God. If a man can’t show leader ship in the home what makes him Thank you’ll be any good at pastoral ministry?

No you are seeing the remake of the Three STOOGES.

That response is HORRIFIC ! That's the problem in the church. You have people in the pulpit who were not called by The LORD. How do you compare a sacred calling from heaven that only The LORD gives to whom He chooses , to teaching third graders the scriptures. This is not only in Calvary chapel,s but its all over the world. Everybody thought it was funny and so amusing, just as HORRIFIC as the actual comment chuck smith made.
