I still love and miss him! I hate that they wiped out all his teaching. Regardless of his sins, he was a gifted teacher. His life is in shambles, so he needs our prayers and support . ❤️

A couple of years back I was depressed and suicidal. I turned the TV on and heard Pastor Bob preaching the gospel. Gd saved me that day through Pastor Bob's ministry. I am a born again christian today and I am alive today because he preached the gospel. Please know that he is truly a man of Gd. However, he is a human being just like the rest of us. Jesus Christ is the only SINLESS one. We all fail. Please pray for him during this time. He helped us when we needed, now it's our turn to help him.

I was saved under his ministry and matured listening to other Calvary Chapel pastor/ teachers and at Calvary Church Jupiter Farms FL I have been a youth pastor, preacher Bible teacher and currently a Sunday school teacher, Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale is where GOD performed the miracle of salvation for me in 1995. I love Pastor Bob and would love to see and hear him again in person but that does not mean what he did and said and covered up was right, it was terrible.

I attended Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale for a few years in the early 2000s. Pastor Bob, his teaching, example and team was influential in my life for which I will always be grateful. Because of his position of authority, this sin in his life rises to what is or appears to be a higher infraction, but he is just as likely and probably without a doubt even more likely to be tempted mightily as any other man would be. The way God used him to change his life and that of others for the better can never be undone nor the fact that redemption and forgiveness and a new beginning for him and his family can come after this.

So Sad for Pastor Bob and his family and for Calvary FTL, but we are all sinners and fall short of the Glory of God. Fortunately the Lord does forgive when we come to him in true repentance and I believe Pastor Bob has done that. I believe God forgave me for a similar sin in my life, and I know if its Gods will that Pastor Bob and his family will be restored and he will be back again with an even more powerful testimony teaching Gods Word. Calvary Chapel FTL will go on powerfully teaching God's Word because they have a lot of wonderful Associate Pastors to continue that mission

Calvary Chapel ministers to the lost and hurting no mater what their background and what they look like. Pastor Bob is blessed by God with a wonderful way to communicate the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The ministry God has entrusted to him has reached countless and changed countless lives. Pray he has the chance to reach thousands more.

I don't know why many of these "so called" Christians themselves are despising Pastor Bob. He has done many things to change people's lives through ministry and served a duty from God During his time in ministry. Sure it is a little disappointing to see his ugly side and he violated God's law, but God already saw that coming anyway! EVERYONE has an ugly side. EVERYONE has violated God's laws. Every person sucks just like everyone else on this planet. And to call the man a hypocrite and a fool from one's own mouth is just as sinful! Pridefulness! I am certain the man has now known what wrong he's done, just like everyone else who realizes their own mistakes. Nobody is perfect. And I'm sure he repented of his sins a million times over, and is now moving forward, strengthening his life in a firm relationship with the Lord. God has unconditional love towards everyone. Therefore as Christians we should forgive and forget, just as God does. And if anything, Christians should be showing love and compassion. Not deceit and hate for the man and calling him a hypocrite. Imagine if you have committed a lying sin, and people called you a hypocrite. How would you feel? The compassionate loving God I know wouldn't scorn His children like that. You have to put yourself in God's shoes. What would He do? Sin is sin. One sin is not worse than another. Sin is equally evil in its entirety no matter WHAT sin it is. People are gay, people are murderers, people are adulterers, people steal, vandalize, cheat, lie, every single day! They are all horrific sins! Blasphemous! But God still loves them no matter what, if they have asked for forgiveness and even more so, he has a shred of love for them even if they didn't ask for forgiveness. He cares that much, and true Christians should understand that. Matthew 18:33 "Shouldn't you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?"

Pastor Bob is an amazing preacher. I love that he has humor in his speeches because it keeps everyone awake and on their toes. I was moved every time I heard him. Not many preachers can grasp at my heart and he did AND I always left with a message I understood and I was always able to follow along with him in the bible. I will be sad without him but I will continue going to my Calvary Chapel home. Some of the comments I read are disgusting and I know most of the negative ones are from those who have never stepped foot in his church. He is not about money and there is no basket that gets passed around at the end of service. You don't believe me then go attend yourself and you will see. He has saved thousands because he is different from other preachers. People can relate to him and understand him. I pray that all who consider themselves a christian show compassion and forgiveness. We are all sinners. No one is perfect. "Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone". John 8:7

Great you got together to worship Bob Coy a man who defied God. One should go to church to celebrate God not celebrate a man who betrayed the Holy Spirit. Do you know what it's called when someone worships the success of man over the commandments of God? A Cult.

Tell me it is not so? Everyone defies God? Of course they do however, not everyone who defies God leads congregations of thousands either, nor should they be celebrated. Do I need to "learn religion" to say flesh should not be celebrated for sins as I was pointing out in my previous comment? Is that not disturbing to hear how people gathered to celebrate Bob Coy and his false legacy on the heels of his sins? Instead they should be celebrating Christ then praying for Bob Coy to heal? Adultery is nothing to take lightly especially when you are preaching to people every week not to do so. Please tell me I am wrong or tell me how your religion contradicts that.

It's no different per say in college athletics when people were willing to overlook what Joe Paterno did in the enabling of Jerry Sandusky. People were hurt and lives ruined however, because of his iconic state they were wiling to overlook the acts. Welcome to the forming of an occult.

This is from October of 1996. It's the Calvary Chapel midwest pastor's conference in Hartford , Indiana - it's a small town on the border of Ohio/Indiana. Bob came back again to speak about discipleship in 2006 - he hardly ever does conferences - he'd rather be with his family raising his kids, which makes perfect sense.

True Christians who follow God's words do not claim to be perfect or put themselves on a pedestal. We are not Catholics who dress in robes and say that the leaders are superior and go to a "father" to confess sins and ask forgiveness. Pastor Bob did not claim to be sinless. He like most of us has made a mistake that he admits. He has stepped down which is admirable and has the support of his brothers and sisters in Christ. May The Lord Bless and restore Pastor Bob who has richly blessed my spiritual walk with wisdom and laughter. Let this be a reminder brothers and sisters to pray for our pastors always they need our prayers. The enemy knows what damage it does when they stumble ..Again bless you Pastor Bob you and your congregation and family you are all in our prayers.

Pastor Bob Coy like anyone else is human, moreover a sinner just like you and I> He is greatly blessed with a gift of communicating the word of God. In time I'm sure after repentance and some time to reflect he will return. I know God will forgive him , I as a fallen human being do forgive him and pray for his wife and family, that they may come together that their faith may pull them together and keep them together.

Holy cow!! Saying that CCFL caters to the rich and doesn't minister to those in need, or on the street is an ignorant comment. Maybe you should actually go to Calvary Chapel and see, I bet you will have a very different opinion.

He never left the standup comedy scene of the Las Vegas circuit from which he claims to have been saved. AND YOU'RE GOING TO GIVE YOUR MONEY TO HIS ROUTINE WHICH PURPORTS TO BE THE BIBLICAL GOSPEL.????!!!!!!!!!!! The senior pastors of Calvary Chapel Movement should have taken this junior aside years ago and straightened out his shenanigans!!!!!!!!!!!!

The bible reminds us, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into this world. I recommend listening to John Macarthur or David Jeremiah who teaches the bible the way it should be taught. They have apps for free, GTY and Turning Point. They will help you understand passages of the scriptures. God Bless!

"The governing board of the church is providing counselors and ministers who will help guide him through the process of full repentance, cleansing and restoration," Lucky for him. At least he picked a religion where you can do whatever you want and then ask for forgiveness later. So this is the guy who leads you in a way you never could on your own? Why are people praying for him? Praying he won't bang another woman behind his wife's back? Live your life without this garbage. Realize this guy is no different than the rest of us and you don't need him (or anyone else) to be a conduit for your salvation.
