What a great Pastor, what a great gift from God. I have been to many, many, many churches over 60 years but only began to grow when I found calvary church and their expositional teaching. Still so grateful since saved during the Jesus movement. So great.

Recommited my life at CCCM on a Monday night service with Greg Laurie in 1997. My wife did the same thing down in Brazil same month same year. We met three years later and attended Sunday Nights with Chuck Smith chapter by chapter for nearly 15 years. Served as missionaries there. So thankful for Chuck's teachings and still listen to him with our kids. In my opinion, he was the most anointed teacher of the Word of God. Never used notes... the Spirit just flowly spoke through him. He went to be with Jesus on my daughter's tenth birthday. Still get emotional thinking about how blessed we were to be under Chuck's leadership and teaching.

Through Pastor Chuck's teaching I got to know, to understand the people in the times of Jesus & before Jesus. They came alive with & I realized they were no different than us, they had different daily objects etc. For me he made the bible much easier to understand & I am forever thankful to Chuck & to our Lord for raising him up. I miss Pastor Chuck so much. I wish he could have seen all the prophecy coming true right now & be raptured. All glory, blessing & honor to God.

Such a beloved voice - I listened to him daily for years on the radio, starting right after I gave my life to Christ (1981). His program was on in the mornings from 9-9:30, I was supposed to be at work at 9:00 but was always so glued to what he was saying, I'd park and sit in my car and listen. Got in trouble for being 15 minutes late every day. I made up the time over lunch or at the end of the day, but finally I realized it was time to do something new, so I left my job. And my new life allowed me to listen the full 30 minutes every weekday for years. I learned volumes from Chuck Smith.❤

Oh I loved Chuck Smith. I was part of those ppl in that JESUS movement I the tents. Heard LOVE SONG play what is now contemporary gospel music. I knew Lonnie Frisbee. What a GOD given gift. I have never experienced anything like pouring out of the HOLY SPIRIT and ppl giving their lives to CHRIST. Their was sooo much love and acceptance because of the awesomeness of the forgiveness of our Sin and being no longer a slave to sin. He who is free in Christ is free infeed. My husband and I had our lives completely changed and are still serving CHRIST. THE Revolution IS STILL HAPPENING. NOW, GEN X And GEN Z NEED This REVOLUTIOM. THEY ARE OUR Future Revolution Soon TO HIT THE SILVER IS THE CATALYST NEEDED TO SPUR THIS POURING OUT OF CHRIST ON ALL FleshI PTSYING GOT YOU AND ALL involved in my this moment of Christ. Amen and amen.

I love this video Pastor Greg, how I miss Pastor Chuck… I’m on the East Coast, but you still listen to him on the radio, read his books, saw him at festivals he was so instrumental and inspiring me as a young Christian. And then I go to Huntington Beach where my nephew lives… So cool hearing the story… And now I’m gonna dig in the first John

I did a search on Pastor Paul Smith, Pastor Chuck's Brother. I became great friends with Pastor Paul and his family for several years until I moved out of State. A video from Pastor Paul came up and after listening to his concerns about Calvery Chapel, I clicked on this video. This video clearly show where Pastor Chuck's heart has always been. To preach the Word of God. Simple and so true. After Chuck past away there are so many directors and cauncels that are trying to change Calvery Chapel and it's beliefs. Please do a search on Pastor Paul Smith in Lucern Valley/Apple Valley. Also I would recommend watching The Jesus Revolution, when Pastor Greg Laurie, under Pastor Chuck Smith started to grow. Is Calvery Chapel in trouble? We all need to pray and ask God to bring the truth, and feel the Church with the Holy Spirit once again....so it can start another Christian Revolution to save the world.
