The incredible thing to me is that Bob is not just doing Sinatra, but he’s doing Frank at a certain age. This is not young Frank’s voice, but rather Frank in the last third of his career. It reminds me of when Meryl Streep, in ‘Sophie’s Choice’, decided that she had to learn to speak German with a Polish accent to make it authentic. That’s the attention to detail Bob brings to Sinatra. As Frank himself would say: marvelous!

I’m absolutely blown away. Bob, you don’t just capture Sinatra’s “third act voice” (for lack of a better phrase); you breathe new life into it - honoring him while weaving a lovely thread of yourself through it. Thanks for this gift.

Thank you Matt. I sincerely appreciate your words. I love Sinatra and his music. I do think without question, he is right at the top when it comes to singing his Jazz-Pop style of music. My goal is to keep his music going for the younger generation to hear. I have met hundreds of the younger people who have come up to me after my shows and thanked me for bringing his music to their attention. Many of them have continued to play his music all the time. His daughter Nancy started me in the business. Through the years I was fortunate enough to have worked with him in Las Vegas at the Dunes Hotel, Atlantic City at Steve Wynn's Golden Nugget and the Walldorf Astoria Hotel in Manhattan. God bless you and thanks again for the kind words.

Holy crap! Carson's two favorite songs, Rainy Day and One for my Baby, that Bette sang for him the night before the last show. Sinatra live was not Sinatra on his records. All of the deviations from script, the evocative pauses, the entertainer. I kept waiting for Rickles to wander out on stage. Bob, I can't imagine the hours that it took to get to this point, but you nailed it! I could smell the cigarette smell. Unreal!

I was fortunate enough to see the show at the Palazzo. It remains the gold standard for me by which all other Songbook performances are judged. I am also a fan of Steve Maglio, but this show was another level beyond. I still get goosebumps when I think of how uncannily Mr Anderson channeled Frank Sinatra. We were in the front row, and it really felt as if we were sitting 10 feet away from the man himself. Sure hope you'll make it back to Vegas soon!

The great vocalists can sustain a note without vibrato. To carry a tone pure and true is difficult. Using vibrato helps those singers maintain a timbre with the music. It helps the weaker vocalists to connect, musically, with the instruments playing the music.

To all the misinformed keep in mind that an impressionists job whether he talks or sings is not confined and even necessary to totally mimic. So your comments only speak for themselves void as they are. Bob Anderson is an enormous talent and a very good singer in his own right. He has the feel of this popular music form just like many of the greats of yesterday. Find a tape recorder .. Tape a Sinatra recording ... Play it back .. That's Sinatra .. Impressionists are not tape recorders .. They were never meant to be

Sinatra is extremely hard to copy... believe me, I've tried. Unlike performers like Tony Bennett and Sammy Davis, his movements and vocal inflections are very subtle. This guy is a true genius of the craft, there is nobody else like him.

That must be true because to this day we found no one sounded like Frank Sinatra except Bob Anderson.

I’m just a raw beginner in singing with very crude gear and cheap backing tracks, but must try some Sinatra songs very soon. I grew up listening to all the greats, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Elvis Presley, Tom Jones, etc. Would I love to sing in Vegas one day, oh God yeah, lol.

I could listen to this all day... Anderson adds elements to the singing that Sinatra didn't really have (like a bit of vibrato), so to me this is him doing Sinatra better than Sinatra!

Frank Sinatra was so incredibly hard to do and no-one did him maybe Sammy or Dean but that's it Bob captures parts of Sinatra's voice and as I listen I can hear bits of Sinatra but that's it this man does have a lovely voice it's so incredibly great that he keeps this man's music alive he should do more Jack Jones or Sammy Davis his voice is more suited to them that's why Sinatra had that incredible voice that was so hard to copy
