My concern is after the catch and keeping them out of water for an extended time. I heard an analogy that stuck with me "What if you just ran a 100 yd dash and right when you cross the finish line someone shoves your head into a bucket of water?"

I have a less than a min rule in my head. I try to make it quick or hold them in the water and get the hook out.

Troutfishingjedi grips the jig with pliers and lets the weight of the fish rip the hook loose. He rips big chunks out sometimes.

I saw the comment last video and couldn’t figure out what he was talking about.

They don’t recognize exactly what I’m doing and they are just to quick to judge is all. I already had to block a guy on here today saying I was a POS for boat flipping any fish 😆

As bass anglers wether tournament angling or not, we choose to catch and release. REMEMBER we have a license from the state to harvest 5 PER DAY, which most of us don't. This means yes, respect our sport and resources, but come ON ppl find something else to cry about.
