I've had some good barbel in ridiculously large floods once played a 9lb 6oz as a garden shed went past. Flood can be good mate .

oh no i just saw this video. Two months to late :D But I just need to tell you, Flood conditions are the absolutely best zander fishing conditions. This high murky water drives them absolutely crazy. So next time you should definetly try zander fishing :D

Great videos, very well edited, A little advice, when fishing coloured rivers, sardines, smelt, maybe mackerel, just have smells, all popped up with the head down but touching bottom, ( tail up) get on the circles, de barbed, size four , good luck, Want the big girls, Hereford town centre, November

Yeah we have changed to circle hook or single hooks now if we can’t find circle ones, seem to land a lot more and they don’t harm the fish as much! Glad you enjoyed the video 🙂

Yeh definatly fish farmoor reservior! But when the river level goes down try fishing the stretch of the thames that runs alongside it from pinkhill to bablock hythe. The stretch holds some nice pike but i found that it is better fished with lurs than deadbaits. Near the overflow of the reservior is probably one of the best spots but it is quite along walk to get there. Anyway nice pike it is better than i have been doing on the flooded river :(

Defo go to the trout place and try catch the 40 💪

Your Mrs saved your backside. .. One thing I'd recommend is buy some winterised fish oils . Pike pro do a good range and Eddie turner . Inject your baits with some oils . The scent will help pike find your bait 🎣🎣🎣

Pretty much every time! We needed her there for the true monster pike 😅

Nice job floods are good just can be awkward to fish properly, it gives the fish grazing land, have you seen how many worms come out on soaked grass, fish love it and must eat before the level drops again. not sure how it affects pike maybe they just stay the same as food is always there and in fact spreads out more and hides better so they may wait till its lower water and they shoal tighter, just a thought.

We’ve found it’s hit or miss! Sometimes the fishing is great and sometimes it’s Rock hard!

Go for the 40 mate 👍 just leave fair weather Dani splashing around in the bath 😂 she'll only go and catch it if you take her lol 😂😂

I have had my biggest pike in a huge flood (broke off sadly but I have a video of the fight), I honestly think it seems to entice the larger ones to feed a bit
